THERE was a very small entry at the Midland and Western Region Show which was held on Sunday at Woodlands Equestrian Centre where just nine tests were performed in front of judge for the day, Liam Maloney.

Dearbhle Creagh enjoyed two wins at Novice level on her eight-year-old Cardento gelding Shadow Time with whom she had finished second in an EI100 (Amateur) at Punchestown earlier in the month. Creagh and the bay scored 69.83% in the DI24 and 65.69 in the DI27.

Maloney’s highest score of the day, 75.18, was awarded to Yasmin Hughes for her work on Lightning McQueen.
