ENNISKILLEN Horse and Pony Show 2026 will be held in the wonderful setting of Castle Irvine, Necarne over the weekend of June 20th and 21st.

On the Saturday, scheduled classes will include a Dog show, including ISA All-Ireland qualifiers, dressage classes from Intro to Elementary and Novice working hunter from cross-poles to 80cm.

Meanwhile, Sunday will host a wide range of ridden, family and in-hand showing classes. Tremendous competition is anticipated with a huge prize pot on offer. In the broodmare and youngstock classes, there is a £400 prize fund for the championship, while the Irish Draught broodmare and youngstock classes will see a generous £750 for the championship. Connemara youngstock competitors will do their best to win the £250 on offer for their championship, with another £250 up for grabs in the senior and ridden Connie championship, including a four-/five-year-old ridden Connemara All-Ireland qualifier. The Supreme Connemara championship offers a prize of £500.

A full range of ridden horse classes is on the schedule, with a championship worth £1,000, while the Open Working hunter extravaganza, with classes from 70cm to 1.10m and championship are worth a massive £3,000!

New for this year, a Connemara green hunter qualifier is being held on the Sunday for Clifden Show. The show will also host a wide range of in-hand classes to suit all types of horses.

Entries are now open via jumptime.ie and will close at 8pm on Sunday, June 14th. Please note, entries will be taken on the day, but there will be an additional charge of £5 per class.

The two-day show offers a great opportunity to visit and explore Castle Irvine and the surrounding area, with stabling available through Castle Irvine directly and accommodation may be booked through Mahon’s Hotel directly.
