HORSE Sport Ireland has announced that applications are now open for the Equestrian Volunteers Enrichment and Recognition Programme (E.V.E.R) Erasmus+ Mobility Programme.
Designed by HSI, supported by Léargas and funded through the Erasmus+ Programme, E.V.E.R has been developed to recognise, reward and support the invaluable contribution made by volunteer officials within Irish equestrian sport.
The international mobility opportunity will provide selected participants with the chance to travel to Europe, job shadow experienced officials at a major equestrian event, learn from international best practice, and bring that learning back to benefit the wider Irish equestrian community.
HSI is seeking 10 volunteer officials to participate: four course builders, three dressage judges and three eventing stewards.
Applicants are welcome from those who have a minimum of two years’ volunteering experience within equestrian sport, are actively involved as a volunteer course builder, steward or judge and are currently operating at a minimum National Standard within their officiating role, among other criteria. You must be actively involved in volunteering with Dressage Ireland, ShowJumping Ireland or Eventing Ireland.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and a resident of Ireland. The travel dates are December 3rd to 7th, 2026 and the closing date for applicants is October 30th, 2026. For more information, see www.horsesportireland.ie
