50/50 Lottery continues

EVENTING Ireland’s 50/50 lottery continues, with the next draw taking place tonight, Saturday, for which entries close at 6pm. The premise of the draw is that 50% of the revenue generated goes directly into the prize pot to be awarded to one lucky winner, while the remaining 50% goes to Eventing Ireland’s development fund, regions making venue improvements and youth programmes. Entries can be made through the Eventing Ireland website.

Horse Source issues updated figures

HORSE Source has released its most up-to-date figures concerning foal passport applications made in 2026. Up to April 24th, Horse Source had received 471 applications and issued 470 foal kits to breeders. Of these, 244 kits had been returned, 53 were currently in the laboratory for processing and 178 applications had been completed. Breeders had yet to return 226 kits for processing. Horse Source is urging breeders to submit their foal registration applications as early as possible, to ensure a smooth and timely registration process.
