IT’s been another busy few weeks for the team at Goresbridge and, with the fifth renewal of the Select Sale of Show jumpers just around the corner, the catalogue and online gallery is available to view for the sale on October 6th.

Strictly focussing on quality over quantity, this year’s catalogue features 22 hand-selected three-year-olds, chosen by Nicola FitzGibbon, Eddie Moloney and Sally Parkyn.

Ed Donohoe is confident that this year’s line-up will uphold that standard.

“We are delighted with the horses catalogued this year,” he said. “The standard is extremely high and, with photos, videos, and X-rays now all available to view online, buyers will have every opportunity to study each lot in detail ahead of the day.”

Among the standouts is Lot 5, a well-bred Soco Blue three-year-old filly whose pedigree is littered with international success. Bred from a yard that has already produced two Olympic horses, she is out of a dam MHS Versace who is currently competing at 1.40m level.

Also turning heads is Lot 19, a flashy and eye-catching youngster from an exceptional damline, responsible for producing the current and highly-consistent performer Gone Girl VB.

The sale will once again begin with a drinks reception and barbeque from 4pm, in conjunction with the loose jumping performance, before the sale itself kicks off at 7pm.
