COOLBALLYSHAN Stud welcomes Amadeo van’t Vossenhof Z (Asca Z x Carthago Z), a Zangersheide-approved stallion who promises to bring real quality and performance potential to Irish breeders. He is a modern, athletic type with plenty of blood, quality and movement, all traits which are increasingly sought after in today’s sport horse.

Amadeo is already proving himself through his progeny. His oldest stock are now seven-year-olds, currently competing up to 1.40m level, and are consistently described as rideable, careful and scopey, a combination that appeals to both professional riders and ambitious amateurs aiming for the top.

Bred on some of the strongest jumping lines in European breeding, Amadeo is by Asca Z, crossed with the influential sire line of Carthago Z. In the third generation, the presence of Libero H further strengthens the performance depth in his pedigree. Amadeo also comes from a genuine performance family. His dam, Caloma II Z, competed to 1.60m level, adding further confidence that this is a stallion whose pedigree is matched by ability and durability.
