BALLIVOR Horse Show is set to take place next weekend, Saturday June 7th and Sunday June 8th. There will be an action-packed schedule of events each day with horse and pony jumping, show classes as well as trade stands and food stalls.
The show once again takes place in a picturesque green field in the beautiful Meath countryside where you can stroll around with an ice cream or coffee and enjoy the equine sporting talent.
On Sunday, June 8th the prestigious Grand Prix will see international and national figures on the show jumping scene battle it out for the €4,000 prize fund. Ballivor Horse Show isn’t just for horse enthusiasts there will also be free yoga, children’s races, fun fair, meet the resident alpacas and mini goats. This year, for the first time, they will also have also a dance floor with social dancing on Sunday from 2.30pm until 5.30pm with music by special guest Eddie Quinn.
For all the dog lovers, Sunday will also feature the very popular dog show with over 10 classes and qualifiers for a National Gun Dog and Native Breed Championships – a chance for every dog to win from the family pet to the pedigree canine.
It’s pony day on Saturday, June 7th with show jumping, showing classes and mounted games for the stars of the future and their fantastic ponies.
