Horse rescue’s horse box stolen
CAPPANAGARRANE horse rescue in Tipperary was the victim of a recent theft in which its horsebox and feed was stolen. A neighbour’s mare was also stolen from a nearby paddock in the same incident. Anne Williamson, founder of the rescue, said: “It wasn’t a new horse box but it was all we had for the rescues. Our rescue is a small and family run rescue that caters for all horses, mostly thoroughbreds. It’s difficult enough to survive without this invasion of privacy not to mention the danger to the people living there. It’s a regular occurrence everywhere now and it’s time something was done about it. Anyone trespassing on land should be prosecuted.”
If anyone has any information or spotted anything unusual around Mullinahone last Monday, July 21st, please contact Clonmel Garda station.
