ETTER Sport Horses, who were in the news in last week’s edition having sold Celtic Hero BZ to the USA, were breeders of Odyssey B who, on his fourth start, landed the 31-runner EI100 class.

Ridden by Lee Maher for Jerry Lenihan, the six-year-old bay gelding completed on his first phase score as Luca Stubington, leader after dressage (17) had a fence down with September Son.

There were 16 starters in the EI100 class which was led throughout by the Romy McCarthy-ridden pair of Millridge Cara and Miracle who both were on penalty score of 22 after dressage, both had a pole down show jumping and both went clear across the country. The 15-year-old mare Millridge Cara was adjudged the winner as she crossed the finish closer to the optimum time.

Fresh from her silver medal-winning performance at the Europeans, Chloe Fagan recorded an all-the-way success in the EI100P class with Sara Hercock’s Connemara gelding Carbury Cascade, by Laerkens Cascade Dawn.

The Joanne Jarden-owned and ridden Rockrimmon Senator mare Quarryhill Calypso posted her second EI90 success on her flat work mark of 22.5. Lough Conn Laura, who led after dressage on 19.3, had a fence down show jumping and then a stop at the coffin. On her first outing with Keredern Little Heather, Jill McKenna partnered the 22-year-old dun mare to an impressive all-the-way success in the EI90P class.
