EVENTING supporters across Ireland had the opportunity to meet and watch some of Ireland’s top senior event riders and their horses train over the course of last weekend.

The Team Ireland Equestrian Eventing Demo Tour successfully raised close to €30,000, to help with the funds needed for the senior Irish eventing team who will travel to Tryon, USA, this September for the World Equestrian Games.

The riders were joined by Senior High Performance director Sally Corscadden, dressage coach Ian Woodhead and showjumping coach Ian Fearon.

The tour kicked off in Maryville Stables in Cork, then moved up to Sprucelodge Equestrian and Training Facility, Wicklow, and finished in Portmore Equestrian, Antrim.
