ONLY interested in show jumping, nine-year-old Ruby Nolan can’t wait to compete at Dublin, but the Co Monaghan youngster should take solace from the fact that it was she who inspired her father Padraic to design The Rug Rack, which was on view in the company’s stall beside the showing warm-up ring last week.
“I don’t have a lot to do with the ponies, but kept seeing rugs lying around the yard, which Ruby and her brothers found hard to store away, so I came up with this lightweight design of storing rugs and numnahs that even children can use,” explained Padraic who, with wife Kathy, now runs their business The Rug Rack from their home in Emyvale.
