HOW is your eye for a winner?

The Public Judging Competition which takes place each day at Dublin Horse Show, allows visitors pit their wits against the experts in the showing rings. Showing classes are a really important part of the Show, where horses are judged on conformation, movement, gait, presence and other attributes.

Visitors can submit their chosen winners and post it in the ballot box to be in with a chance to win €1,000 each day. Make sure you get a prime viewing spot to examine each of the horses on display.

Once you have made up your mind about which animals should take the top honours, submit your form and see if it matches the judges’ selection. Someone has to win, so it could well be you!

Public announcements at the Show Rings will remind you on the day of which classes are eligible for the competition, they range from foals, to racehorses, to side-saddle.

Commentators will direct you to where you can pick up entry forms at both Rings 1 and 2 and give you some guidelines by which to make your decision.
