THE sport horse sales year draws to a close next week when the Donohoe family at Goresbridge host a one-day performance sale followed by the final bi-monthly renewal of 2019.
The entries for the former have risen this year to feature an increased number of competition horses as well as the usual draft of hunters, younger performers and a large collection of three-year-olds.
As he did last year, and having dominated the stallion lists all season, it comes as no surprise to see the Kennedy Brothers’ ever popular sire OBOS Quality head the sires’ table with nine progeny forward.
Also making an impact with four lots forward is the Gorey-based Irish Draught stallion Rebel Mountain, while Capri Van Overis, and Cara Touche are represented by three apiece.
