A SELECTION of graded jumpers and a group of well-related foals are among the standouts of a three-day mixed sale at Cavan next week. Marking the end of the sales year at the venue, the renewal has attracted a sizeable entry in all three sectors, which kicks off with the performance sale on Wednesday.

As usual, Thursday’s youngstock is highlighted by the ‘Winter Foal’ collection, confined to foals with especially stout bloodlines. Friday meanwhile is devoted to the Irish Draught enthusiasts, and this popular day has drawn an entry of 88 lots of foals, yearlings, ridden horses and broodmares.
