KATIE Jerram and Bryan Maguire were the recipients of two ambassador awards made by the Traditional Irish Horse Association at Dublin.

Showing producer Katie, who featured in The Irish Field’s Dublin preview magazine, and Bryan, who bred Catherine Witt’s Rolex Kentucky winner Bay My Hero, were presented with their awards by Horse Sport Ireland chairman Dr Pat Wall at the end of Chris Ryan’s presentation on different traditional-bred types.

Ryan’s four-legged models included William Dillon’s performance champion Knock Morris (Irish Draught); Ronnie Bailey and the Benson’s Lansdowne Road (thoroughbred); Philippa Mansergh-Wallace’s Derrymore Paddy Finn (Connemara) and Mary Leonard Blake’s Sir Onyx; Claire Connors’ Woodfield Humour and Judy Duffy’s Arctic Lodge who represented the various TB/ID/Connemara crosses.
