RUNNING nearly two months later than originally scheduled, the season at Goresbridge finally gets underway next Tuesday. The sale will be heavily dependent upon online and telephone bidding, and will of course be staged strictly under the current Covid-19 protocols. In line with these restrictions, there will be no admittance to the general public, and for those in attendance, face masks are mandatory and social distancing must be implemented at all times.

Videos of all the lots can be viewed on the Goresbridge website prior to sale, and in a new move there will be live performance streaming on the day.

The catalogue is a big one and, running over one full day, features ponies, older horses, three and four-year-olds. Among the 190 entries are numerous horses with jumping, hunting and competition form, while the younger three-year-old sector offers some attractive bloodlines.

Once again and with nine progeny forward, OBOS Quality leads the stallion lists, while Dignified Van’t Zorgvliet is also well represented with six, and the thoroughbred Pointilliste has four.
