H&J SPORTHORSES, who sold the top-priced three-year-old at last year’s Goresbridge Go For Gold Sale (Cantona Kann for €46,000), are consigning a trio of youngsters to this year’s renewal, one in conjunction with point-to-point trainer Cormac Doyle who saddled two winners last weekend.
The Irish Sport Horse gelding BP Vorado (Lot 25), who was bred in Co Tipperary by GBBS Int Ltd, is by Jorado out of the Ards Vivendi mare BP Flight. The latter, who was dam previously of the Cinsey gelding BP Dancing Light (1.40m), is a half-sister to BP First Editions (1.60m), BP Limitless (1.50m) and B.E. Flygold (1.40m), as all are out of Ballypatrick Flight (1.50m), a half-sister to, among others, MHS Going Global (1.60m).
Co Wexford-based Henry Foley and Joanne Curtin are also selling Rembrandt GR (Lot 14), a four-year-old KWPN gelding by Kallmar VDL out of the Ice Breaker EB mare Mona Lisa O (1.35m), and the three-year-old ISH filly Kinmar Dancer (Lot 45), a bay daughter of the young show jumping sire Riesling van’t Roosakker (by Comme Il Faut) out of a half-sister to Domingo (1.60m), Wizard (1.60m) and Moningo (1.55m).
