IRISH-based stallions rule the recently-released British Eventing (BE) leading sires list which sees Ghareeb at the top of the BE table in 2015. This section is based on points won by progeny at novice level and upwards.

The late Kiltealy Stud sire was edged out in the overall sires list (a combination of foundation and higher levels points) by Jumbo.

This is the second successive year that Jumbo, who was put down last March at the age of 31, has been the leading overall sire.

Ghareeb (second) is joined in the overall top-10 line-up by Ricardo Z (third), Master Imp (fourth), Harlequin Du Carel (sixth), Puissance (eighth), Ard VDL Douglas (ninth) and Courage II (10th).

Harthill Stud’s Ramiro B is the leading sire of young horses (four to eight-year-olds) with the Irish-bred Cooley SRS as his chief earner.
