A NICE selection of horses and ponies come under the hammer tomorrow (Sunday, June 24th) at Mullingar Equestrian Centre.

Valerie Gateau’s seven-year-old 12.2hh Gateau Allgrey (Lot 3) has 180 jumping points and was All Ireland National Young Pony Champion 2016.

Silver Dollar 111 (Lot 5) looks an ideal all-round Connemara type gelding that can go anywhere, described as honest and willing he has done training shows up to 90cm.

Finola Heslin sells her 13.2hh six-year-old dun gelding Cluainn Spring Jack (Lot 8), described as an ideal honest Pony Club type.

Anne Lynch’s Stella Belladonna (Lot 17) is sure to catch the eye with her flaxen mane and tail. A forward-going pony she would suit a competitive rider as a brilliant second pony.

The five-year-old Cushlough Vixen (Robe Arrow-Cong Rebel Lady) (Lot 27) has a nice Connemara jumping pedigree and looks promising.

PERFORMANCE HORSES

The horse section offers some lovely performance type animals.

Rathball Cruise (Lot 33) has great Irish breeding and has a full green book; he is described as likely to make a super eventing or show jumping horse.

The bay four-year-old gelding Zeebo (Lot 38) was recently placed in Balmoral in a ridden hunter class and is currently schooling cross-country.

Oakfort Dream On (Lot 56) is a lovely six-year-old traditional Irish Horse with a quality pedigree. His sire All My Dreams won the Deutsches Derby, his dam Warrenstown Lilly Lally is by Golden Cliff who sired many international eventers.

From the same owner comes the bay six-year-old Oakford Dreamer (Lot 62) by All My Dreams and Westfield Clover, by Cloverhill, a full-sister to two RID stallions and a mare who jumped to Grand Prix level.
