Adelaide to return
COX Plate winner Adelaide will return to Ballydoyle next spring and be aimed at Royal Ascot. The three-year-old stayed in Australia after his Cox Plate win and will be aimed at the Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick in April.
Sire De Grugy injury
CHAMPION Chase winner Sire De Grugy misses his engagement at Cheltenham tomorrow, having pulled up lame after exercise. Trainer Gary Moore says he does not know if the horse will be fit to run in the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown on December 6th.
Kirkistown off
TODAY’S point-to-point at Kirkistown has been postponed due to waterlogging. The new date is November 29th. Original entries stand.
INS stallions on show
BREEDERS can head to the Irish National Stud to inspect stallions next week, with two shows daily from Tuesday to Friday at 11.30am and 2.45pm.
