Team Valor

He ran very well on Champions Weekend at Leopardstown and he has come out that race in great form. I think he showed a nice bit of pace that day and I was delighted with him. The Diamond Stakes at Dundalk over an extended mile and quarter looks as if it will be his next start. We know that he likes the surface. He has proved this year that he is a solid stakes horse and I have been delighted with him.

She won very well at Listowel and it was great to win a listed race with her this year. She is a very tough filly and she has been in great form since and she loves this soft ground, so I would love to run her again this year. Those listed races at Leopardstown at the end of October are options for her and I’ll see what her owners want to do but I couldn’t be more pleased with her.

She is a lovely filly who won well for us at Tipperary and she has thrived since. She likes slow ground and she’ll take her chance in the Weld Stakes at the Curragh tomorrow. I am looking forward to it and I think she has improved since her last run. It looks a good race but I think she is entitled to take her chance and I think there is more to come from her.

She ran very well at Leopardstown in the Champion Stakes and she has come out of that race in good form. She has won on soft ground but ideally she’d like good ground and she is in the Prix de l’Opera at Longchamp next month and the plan is for her to go there.

Godolphin

The ground may have been a bit slow for him when he finished second the last day at the Curragh, but he has come out that race in good form and I am very happy with him. He has won on slow ground but he would prefer it good. He is in the Jean-Luc Lagardere in Longchamp and if he gets his conditions, there is a good chance that he’ll go there.

She did it well when she won the May Hill at Doncaster and she has done well since. She is another that likes good ground. She is in the Prix Marcel Boussac and as long as the ground is not soft, the plan is to go there.

Majestic Queen was a great servant to the yard but she has run her last race and she has been retired to stud. She was a lovely filly to train and hopefully she’ll develop into a top-class broodmare.

CHICLET

Mrs A. J. Donnelly

We gave Chiclet a good break after she ran at the Curragh and she looks great. She is working well and I couldn’t be more pleased with her. She has developed into a very capable sprinter and if I am happy with her she’ll go for the Mercury Stakes at Dundalk. It is likely that she will have a winter campaign in Dundalk.

We have been waiting for soft ground for him and he is in great form and he’ll head to Tipperary next weekend for the Concorde Stakes. Hopefully he’ll enjoy a good end to the season and the softer the ground the better for him.

Shamardal - Tuzla

Godolphin

He ran a great race at the Curragh the last day and he has a couple of options. There is a listed race for him next month (the Mercury Stakes) at Dundalk and there is also a listed race for him at the Curragh. I haven’t discussed it yet with his owners as to where he’ll go but they are options for him. He has come out of the Curragh in great form and he is training away fine.

PORTAGE

Teofilo - Galley

Godolphin

He runs at Newmarket today in the Cambridgeshire. The ground is on the slow side and I’d be hoping that it will dry out a bit for him. He has a nice weight on his back and he has plenty going for him over there. He has been in great form and all seems good with him. He has done well for us this season.

ANAMBA

2yo b f (1)

Shamardal - Anamato

Godolphin

She is a very nice filly and she didn’t surprise us when she won what looked a good maiden at Leopardstown on Champions Weekend. She is in the Weld Stakes on Sunday but the ground is pretty soft at the Curragh and it would have to dry out for her to take her chance. She is a fine, scopey filly that should make into a very nice three-year-old.

RAYISA

She was good and professional when she won at Gowran Park last weekend. The Silken Glider Stakes at the Curragh in the middle of next month is an option. She handled the slow ground well the last day and we’ll see how she is on the lead up to that. I have been very happy with her since and she should do well for us next year.

She was very good at Leopardstown and she has been in very good form since. She has held her form well all season and the plan is that she’ll go for the fillies and mares’ race at the Breeders’ Cup. The fast ground out there should suit her and she has looked a very smart filly all year. Hopefully, she’ll round off her year well in America.

He has been in super form since the Curragh. I was thrilled with him that day and he has really come back to form. He had a quiet summer and that has stood to him. This is his time of the year and he’ll go to Longchamp for the Abbaye and then back to Ascot for the sprint there on Champions Day. That race is just 13 days after Paris, but everyone else is the same boat, so we’ll try and fit both races in.

If he doesn’t manage to win one of those, I think there is a stakes race on the last day of the flat season at Doncaster that we’ll look at. He is fresh and well and he looks great. There is nothing else for him after Doncaster, so I’d imagine that will be it until next year.
