Farid

(W.P. Mullins)

Cork November 3rd

He had to settle for seventh in the maiden hurdle won by Tiger Voice but he shaped better than the final result on his first run since February. He could be interesting when he moves into handicaps.

Earthiest Words

(P. Nolan)

Cork November 3rd

This mare returned from well over a year and a half off to finish an excellent second to Minella Melody in a useful mares’ maiden hurdle. This effort was in keeping with what she showed on her debut in a good Down Royal bumper in March 2018 and she could take beating in a mares’ maiden over the coming weeks.

Algeria

(J.P. O’Brien)

Dundalk November 6th

This inexpensively bought son of Anjaal made a bright start to his career by chasing home So Suave in a maiden on Wednesday. He should be all the better for this run and he can make his mark at Dundalk this winter.

Muzbid

(R. Sweeney)

Dundalk November 6th

This relatively lightly raced five-year-old showed up well to be beaten bya length and a half into third in the handicap won by Count Of Carabass. This represented an encouraging Polytrack debut and he looks capable of adding to the Killarney maiden he won a couple of years ago.

Buttons And Bows

(P.J. Flynn)

Thurles November 7th

A dual winner who is 7lbs higher than when winning at Wexford during the summer, this mare can add to her tally. She followed up a fourth to Without Limites at Gowran Park last month by filling the same place behind Something Sweet on Thursday. She may not need to improve much on those last two efforts to win again.
