KURAKA stamped his quality on the Follow Limerick On Twitter Maiden Hurdle.

Gordon Elliott's charge made the frame in races won by classy juveniles Espoir D'Allen and Mr Adjudicator earlier in the season so had every right to be sent off the even-money favourite.

Denis O'Regan bounced him straight into the lead and controlled the pace before Kuraka showed acceleration his rivals simply couldn't match between the last two and he coasted home by 11 lengths from Ilikedwayurthinkin.

"He's a grand dual-purpose horse. It wasn't the strongest race in the world and on his run at Leopardstown, he was entitled to win it," said Elliott. "He's a good fun horse and will do his job grand."

All Good Things won a dramatic Follow Limerick On Facebook Maiden Hurdle.

The 11/4 chance was always to the fore and saw off El Rouli by three and three-quarter lengths, but his task was made easier when the Gordon Elliott-trained favourite Falak came down on the home turn, taking his stablemate Isle Of Destiny out with him.

Winning trainer James Nash said: "He's consistent and goes on all types of ground. He's fairly Flat-bred but seems to be a very good jumper.

"Hopefully everyone is alright and we'll never know (what would have happened) but we'll take it and we were due a bit of luck.

"We gave him a break after Christmas as he's a summer horse and this was his comeback run. The maidens were always going to get a bit weak this time of the season so it's worked out.

"He'll be a novice for the rest of the year, and the handicapper can't be too hard on him for winning a race like that."

BROKE THROUGH

Trump Sixteen has got steadily better with each outing and broke through in the Panoramic Restaurant Handicap Hurdle.

Freshened up since his last outing, the 6/1 chance kicked from on the pace and kept going to dispose of Sil Ver Klass by two lengths.

Trainer Steven Mahon said: "He was a big baby last year and just needed time. He made a bit of a noise here at Christmas and he's had a wind operation. The vet, Ben Brain, did a great job, and I knew the first morning he cantered after it that he was perfect.

"We fancied him a bit this evening but he's more of a two-and-a-half mile horse and Danny (Hand) was supposed to hold him up a bit. He did the right thing as there was no pace, and he switched off as he's a lovely, gentle horse.

"He's in at Punchestown but we'll see how he is between now and then. I know he'll come on from that run but whether Punchestown is too soon, I don't know."

Perfect Man had lost his way over the last year or so but bounced back to form under Trevor Ryan to defy top weight in the Patrickswell Handicap Hurdle at odds of 16/1.

The Elliott-trained Moonlight Escape was a warm order for the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Beginners Chase but favourite-backers knew their fate when she departed five out.

Zipporah blazed a trail but Lakemilan (2/1) ate into her advantage to lead at the second-last and she safely negotiated the final couple of obstacles to score by 14 lengths.

Her trainer Terence O'Brien said: " She's done that well and I suppose when the favourite fell it was a help. She will mix it over the summer and it would be great to get a bit of blacktype with her.

"She's a light-framed mare and will go on good ground too. I'd say it's not too bad there today and they are finishing fairly well. I think she can improve again and she is easy enough to train as you don't have to do a lot with her."
