A fantastic man who supported me from the very beginning. A great horseman and even better person Medium star I am forever grateful. R.I.P Frank [Ennnis] you’ll be sorely missed! My heart goes out to all his beautiful family at this time at this time.

John Allen coming to Australia as a jumps jockey & transforming himself into a world class flat rider culminating today in winning Australia’s greatest WFA race surely has to be one of the greatest racing stories ever.

Jack Cantillon@jackcantillon

Incredibly proud of the whole team @TinnakillHouse. Breeding a Cox Plate winner the testament to not just one brilliant horse but countless years of hard work. A Laois farm breeds the winner of Australia’s best race - quite extraordinary.

Owen Davin@OwenDavin

Dont you just love it when the local horse comes from the next parish in @WexfordRacecour to win for the local trainer and jockey, as napped by the local racing writer in the @TheIrishField! #CushinstownFinest

Luke Tucker@leonardtucker

Absolute shambles it’s being drip fed leaked like some sort of soap drama storyline, no one looks good in this the BHA, PJA shambles all round.

Chris Morrison@tophermorr39

How is anybody going to be able to make a complaint like this again, if all the details are leaked before any decision has been made.

Very poor PR for horse racing and the reputations of the people involved.

Shane Anderson@Globalgallop7

I am amazed that, in this day and age of increased attention around animal welfare, that Racing Victoria don’t acknowledge the venue as a problem and move the quarantine set up to a purpose built training facility. Werribee has long been a poor racetrack plagued with problems.

Charlie Fellowes@FellowesRacing

I have said this over and over and over again. No one listened. Werribee is not fit for purpose. All those ridiculous changes made this year and it hasn’t made an iota of difference.
