Call out for lots to support IHWT

THE indefatigable team at the Irish Horse Welfare Trust continue their dedication in rescuing and rehoming horses and ponies. The centre cares for an average of 65 equines but in recent years has had to handle up to 100 animals. The cost of running the IHWT is over €300,000 per annum and they rely on grants, fundraising and donations from members of the public to continue helping horses.

An online auction will be running from November 13th to 26th to raise funds.

Funds run very tight towards the end of every year and they are asking businesses like shops, hotels, equestrian centres and tack shops to donate items for auction.

They already have some terrific items including flexi tickets for the Christmas Festival at Leopardstown and some great racing and equestrian merchandise along with jewellery and tack shop vouchers but they need lots more.
