2.30 Camas Park Irish EBF Maiden 1m 1f

Runner-up at Killarney on his debut in July, the Aidan O’Brien-trained Endorsement can go one better. An apparent stable second string on that occasion, he chased home the Ballydoyle market leader.

With the form of that race having been boosted by the fourth horse subsequently, the Wootton Bassett colt can get off the mark.

South Island had shown promise on his introduction, before finishing second at Leopardstown recently. On collateral form, he has something to find with Endorsement here but the application of first-time cheekpieces could see the Donnacha O’Brien-trained colt improve further.

SELECTION: ENDORSEMENT

Giovanni Giorgio can strike for the in-form duo Joseph O’Brien and Dylan Browne McMonagle. Mid-division on his debut at the Curragh in July, the son of Persian King went down by the minimum margin at Roscommon last time. Sent off an odds-on chance on that occasion, the colt can recover losses here.

Stepping up in trip could well bring further improvement from Redemption Road. The David Marnane-trained gelding has yet to trouble the judge, but ran much better than the bare form suggests when meeting interference at the Curragh last time.

3.30 Glenvale Stud Race 7f 110yd

A course-and-distance winner in April, the Ger Lyons-trained Bravais can add another success. This small field should suit the gelding, who tends to race just off the pace before picking up late. Provided that he is over his recent Galway disappointment, where he reportedly bled, the five-year-old should be up to the task.

Hurricane Ivor, who finished runner-up to Bravais here in April, has every chance off 4lb better. A strong traveller who finds plenty for pressure, the Jessica Harrington-trained gelding won’t be easily passed.

SELECTION: BRAVAIS

4.00 Coolmore Stud No Nay Never Fairy Bridge Stakes (Group 3) (Fillies & Mares) 7f 110yd

Having landed a similar contest at Leopardstown recently, the Michael O’Callaghan-trained Copacabana Sands can complete the hat-trick.

A maiden prior to winning a listed race at Naas in May, the Sands Of Mali filly had no problem stepping up in class for her latest success. An improving three-year-old with more to come, she holds strong claims.

UK raider Celestial Orbit has to be respected. Although well-beaten in Group 1 company last time, the Ollie Sangster-trained filly had been in excellent form prior to that setback. Dropping back in grade now and with the shorter trip very much in her favour, she has to enter calculations.

SELECTION: COPACABANA SANDS

Next best: Celestial Orbit

4.30 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Abergwaun Stakes (Listed) 5f

Despite having to concede weight all round, the Fozzy Stack-trained Two Stars can continue his progression. A lightly-raced gelding, the five-year-old had been consistent in handicaps prior to landing a listed success at Naas in April. Off the track since then, that absence is no great cause for concern, given that he tends to run well fresh.

Powerful Nation is almost certainly better than the bare result of his recent Curragh effort. An improving young sprinter prior to that below par run, the Andrew Slattery-trained colt has to be given another chance.

SELECTION: TWO STARS

5.00 Breens Farm Machinery Apprentice Handicap 1m 1f

Killarney runner-up Jasmine Affanalis can win for local trainer David Marnane. An improving filly since switching to handicaps, the daughter of Highland Reel had also taken minor honours at Limerick in June. Bred to appreciate a test of stamina, she should be suited to racing beyond a mile for the first time in her career to date.

Second here on her latest start, Petite Madame should be capable of getting involved. While that effort was a marked improvement on previous efforts, the lightly-raced daughter of The Irish Rover is certainly going the right way.

SELECTION: JASMINE AFFANALIS

Next best: Petite Madam

5.30 Home & Agri Energy Handicap 1m 4f 110yd

Plunkett Street can record his second victory of the campaign. Having made a winning reappearance at Cork in April, the Michael O’Meara-trained gelding went down narrowly over this course and distance last time. The form of that Cork race has worked out exceptionally well, with both the second and third each winning twice subsequently.

Lady Kai was well supported at Leopardstown last time but stumbled badly and unseated her rider exiting stalls.

The Ross O’Sullivan-trained mare is sure to have her supporters once again under championship leader Dylan Browne McMonagle.

SELECTION: PLUNKETT STREET

Next best: Lady Kai
