1.55 COAST KILMORE QUAY MARES MAIDEN HURDLE 2M4F

Trickey Trix may be good enough to win on her second start under rules.

A former point-to-point winner, the mare caught the eye on her racecourse debut, keeping on steadily when nearest at the finish at Fairyhouse.

That was a far stronger contest than the one she races in here so it would be surprising if she isn’t involved.

Dylan Rock stepped up on previous efforts when fourth at Tramore last time.

However, that run was over 2m and she has yet to prove she wants further. If the extra distance isn’t an issue then she should have a say.

SELECTION: TRICKEY TRIX

Next best: Dylan Rock

2.30 COAST HOTELS & RESORTS RATED HURDLE 2M

Sole Pretender who has always been very highly regarded by connections made a winning return at Ballinrobe last time.

After the race his trainer mentioned targets at graded level, so this rated contest looks well within his compass. He looks the horse with the most scope in the field and is taken to add to his winning run.

Morga finished a long way behind the selection at Ballinrobe last time but caught the eye on that occasion.

She is entitled to come on from the run and is a mare that loves to get her toe in.

SELECTION: SOLE PRETENDER

3.05 COAST ROSSLARE STRAND HANDICAP HURDLE (DIV I) 2M

Rathbride Prince proved very disappointing at Down Royal last time, having shaped with a degree of promise at Naas on his previous start.

He was well backed with the Northern track, so clearly more was expected. He is given another chance now in a weak race that won’t take too much winning.

No Way Jack is a horse with loads of ability but he just needs everything to fall right. He ran really well when second at Fairyhouse last time and if in the same form he looks a leading contender.

There just has to be a slight worry about whether he can put two good runs together back to back.

SELECTION: RATHBRIDE PRINCE

Next best: No Way Jack

3.40 COAST ROSSLARE STRAND HANDICAP HURDLE (DIV II) 2M

Taggle Og has something to prove here having been pulled up at Limerick last time. However, on her previous start she ran very well in a stronger contest over this course and distance.

If the step up in distance is a valid excuse for her latest poor run then she holds a great chance on the basis of her penultimate start.

Trenchtown Rock won over course and distance last September and although not in the same form since, has to be given a chance.

The form of his win has worked out in the interim and we know the track will suit.

SELECTION: TAGGLE OG

Next best: Trenchtown Rock

4.15 VINEGAR HILL HANDICAP HURDLE 3M

Cloudy Morning easily won a handicap chase here last time out and now returns off a lower hurdles rating.

The step up in trip will benefit the former point-to-point winner and with his stable continuing to fire in the winners he rates a confident pick to take this prize.

Shar Whats Therush has been running consistently well of late, just being unfortunate to bump into one too strong. He looks as though he could go close again but just come up short.

The booking of Paul Townend is a big positive as the champion jockey elect was in the saddle when the horse was placed on his most recent start.

SELECTION: CLOUDY MORNING

Next best: Shar Whats Therush

4.45 FREDDIE DOYLE MEMORIAL & LIZ DOYLE BEGINNERS CHASE 2M

Bothar Dubh can complete a quick double for the Declan Queally team. A winner over hurdles on his latest outing, he has experience in point-to-points already so jumping shouldn’t be an issue.

He fell on his sole start over fences under rules but won between the flags and looks a horse on the upgrade.

Three Kings arguably brings the strongest form to the table having finished second at Limerick last time.

He represents leading connections and is unlikely to be too far away.

SELECTION: BOTHAR DUBH

Next best: Three Kings

5.20 EOIN O’GORMAN SOLICITORS HANDICAP CHASE 3M1F

Toosey has done most of his racing in Britain since joining the Gordon Elliott yard but shaped well on his latest few starts and won’t need to improve a great deal on those runs in order to play a big part. He has also won over the distance so has no stamina questions to answer.

Highest Benefit was a winner over fences when last seen in March. The second has gone on to frank the form over hurdles since.

Although unproven over this trip, the tight track gives him every chance of seeing it out and provided he does so he can provide the biggest threat.

SELECTION: TOOSEY

Next best: Highest Benefit

5.50 IRISH STALLION FARMS EBF MARES INH FLAT RACE (4-7Y0) 2M

Fasola Tido wouldn’t be the best mare Willie Mullins has ever trained but that may not prevent her from taking this concluding bumper.

She ran very well on her debut at Fairyhouse in December but has failed to improve on that in two subsequent starts. If she were to replicate that initial form then she would be hard to beat.

Dolly Dancer has been placed in bumpers and over hurdles last time. Reverting to hurdles after running in a bumper does not always make a difference but if the run over jumps has sharpened her up somewhat then she could make the selection work.

SELECTION: FASOLA TIDO

Next best: Dolly Dancer
