1.35 IRISH STALLION FARMS EBF MAIDEN 5F

All eyes will be on Ohio State here as the full brother to two Group One winners makes his racecourse debut.

Aidan O’Brien seems to have his juveniles much more forward this season, so this colt is likely to be fairly straight for his initial outing.

Well drawn near the rail, the son of War Front should be able to make a winning start to his career.

Daughter In Law was well fancied on her recent debut at Dundalk but ran slightly below expectations.

Having said that, she is entitled to come on plenty from that experience, making her one of the leading dangers to the Ballydoyle colt.

SELECTION: OHIO STATE

Next Best: Daughter In Law

2.10 CARAGH NURSERIES HANDICAP 5F

May Remain who has run better than his final placings indicate on a couple of occasions this season could be the answer to a tricky contest.

Having caught the eye at Navan on his reappearance, he was then well punted for a handicap at this venue before slightly disappointing.

Solid efforts in competitive fields on his last two starts give him every chance now.

Verhoyen was a hugely impressive winner of a handicap at the Curragh on Monday but has been hit with an 11lbs hike as a result.

He has run well at this track previously and while he now races off a much higher mark he arrives here in the form of his life.

SELECTION: MAY REMAIN

Next Best: Verhoyen

2.45 IRISH STALLION FARMS EBF RACE 6F

Red Epaulette has to give weight away all round but has already proven his ability. A winner over 5f here on the opening day of the season, Michael O’Callaghan’s colt can put his experience to good use.

Well housed in stall one, he should be quick away and able to maintain his momentum.

Sisken represents leading connections so has to be respected on his racecourse debut.

Although lacking a previous outing, it could be significant that his trainer has pitched up here in a decent contest.

SELECTION: Red Epaulette

Next Best: Sisken

3.20 IRISH NATIONAL STUD RACING IRISH EBF BLUE WIND STAKES (GROUP 3) (FILLIES & MARES)1M2F

Who’s Steph makes a quick reappearance having justified short odds at Gowran Park during the week.

She just about comes out best at these weights although will face a much tougher task against a couple of progressive three-year-old’s.

At the same time, she has both race fitness and experience to call upon here so should be good enough.

Peach Tree was a decent juvenile last season, ending her campaign with a listed success at Navan.

On bare form, she looks just about the best of the younger horses, so should provide a stiff test for the selection.

SELECTION: WHO’S STEPH

Next Best: Peach Tree

3.55 NAAS RACECOURSE NURSERY OF CHAMPIONS RATED RACE 1M2F

Mouriyani may have only won a Dundalk maiden to date but looked smart on that occasion.

Apparently unfancied in the market, he won with a bit in hand and is entitled to improve for the run.

His trainer has made a bright start to the new season so is sure to have had plenty of similar types to choose from for this race.

Turnberry Isle ran better than the bare form suggests on his return at Cork recently.

Although never really in the hunt, he kept on nicely under hands and heels.

The Ballydoyle colt is almost certainly capable of better so should not be discounted.

SELECTION: MOURIYANI

Next Best: Turnberry Isle

4.30 NAAS RACECOURSE BUSINESS CLUB HANDICAP(PREMIER HANDICAP) 6F

Dragons Call signed off last season with a big run when fourth in the Birdcatcher Nursery over course and distance. She stuck to her task well once challenged inside the last furlong and should give a good account now.

Her trainer has his team in great form in the early weeks of the season and this would be a nice prize to land.

Annabelle Rock is a tough, consistent filly who looks certain to run her race here.

She will have no fears about the hustle and bustle of a large field and has both the heart and class to make her presence felt.

SELECTION: DRAGONS CALL

Next Best: Annabelle Rock

5.05 ROYAL ASCOT TRIALS & LADIES DAY 19TH MAY HANDICAP 6F

Blairmayne made a winning seasonal reappearance at this meeting last year before going on to run with credit in premier handicaps.

The six-year-old has slipped back down to a fair mark, one off which he can again be competitive.

This race is sure to have been the plan for some time and the draw has also been kind.

Stanhope ran well here at the start of the campaign but disappointed at Tipperary last time.

That latter run is certainly not his true form, so he is given another chance here.

A reproduction of that earlier effort would see him play a leading role in the outcome.

SELECTION: BLAIRMAYNE

Next Best: Stanhope
