1.25 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race 1m 2f

Jack Yeats struggled in the King Edward at Royal Ascot but this level of competition should show him off to better effect and he returns to a trip over which he won his maiden at Naas in April. He is marginally preferred to the filly Kaftan who only just failed to win a 1m conditions race at Limerick last time where her effort suggested that a longer trip would suit her well.

Further intrigue is supplied by Leo De Fury who looked smart when he made a winning debut at the Curragh two weeks ago.

Selection: JACK YEATS

1.55 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden 5f

This could fall to Alligator Alley who built on a respectable debut to finish a good third to Lil Grey in a useful 6f maiden at the Curragh last month. The drop back in trip shouldn’t be an issue for this Kingman colt who can see off the newcomer Reducta.

The latter’s yard has been going very well with its juveniles and this daughter of Kodiac is out of a mare who was placed twice at stakes level in America. Shines Her Light could easily progress on her debut run in mid-April.

Selection: ALLIGATOR ALLEY

Next best: Reducta

Punita Arora should take plenty of beating. She began her career with a pleasing second to stablemate Cool Vixen at Naas a week ago and the manner in which she travelled through that race would suggest that a drop back to 5f should not present her with any difficulties.

Several of her rivals have shown promise but a possible threat could be Lady Penelope who comes from a family that contains some decent juveniles and her sire, Night Of Thunder, has made a bright start with his first crop of runners this year.

Selection: PUNITA ARORA

Next best: Lady Penelope

The course-and-distance winner Dapper Power might be able to defy top weight. He comes here off two solid showings that have seen him finish second in handicaps won by Dash D’Or and Polly Douglas and he remains on the same mark which gives him a reasonable chance of success.

Black Martini has won over this trip and this American-bred filly might just step forward for the switch to a sound surface having finished fourth to Cityman on slow ground at Tipperary last month.

Selection: DAPPER POWER

Sunset Nova is a solid option. This 70-rated gelding is a reliable sort and has posted a number of decent efforts in defeat this season, the latest of which saw him chase home Enough Said over this trip at Bellewstown last week.

Captainofthebounty didn’t make much impression in two early season runs but might be better for a break of several months, and the form he showed last year concluded with a second to Nevereversaynever at Dundalk in November.

Sun Sign must have a good chance on her two showings last month.

Selection: SUNSET NOVA

This could see High Street Lady add to her sole previous success which she recorded in a Dundalk maiden last year. Just over a year ago she was rated 84, she is now 13lbs lower in the weights, and she comes here off a heartening effort at Gowran Park last month when finishing a 1¼l second to Cuban Hope.

Dance Emperor might be the one that gives her most to do as she is 5lbs better with Nimitz for being beaten just over 1½l at Leopardstown last month.

Selection: HIGH STREET LADY

Shoofly has put together some solid efforts lately and might now get her turn. Her fourth to Galeola at Tipperary last time was a good run against a couple of progressive rivals and she also showed up well when filling the same position behind Swelltime at Fairyhouse.

She is chosen to see off Red Sole Diva who didn’t run well last time but would have an excellent chance on her third to Olympic Honour at Gowran Park last month.

Selection: SHOOFLY

After bolting up at Bellewstown last week, Ally Cay might be able to follow-up. This filly came from well back that day to record a resounding 4l success, and her finishing effort there would suggest that she will relish moving up to this distance.

She can defeat Shamad who deserves to win a race on his recent efforts, the most recent of which saw him chase home the progressive Dinard Rose over 1m4f at Limerick last Sunday.

Selection: ALLY CAY
