1.48 Irish EBF Auction Series Maiden (2yo) 5f 180yd
Arrowstock takes a considerable drop in grade having contested the five-furlong Coolmore Stud Blackbeard Tipperary Stakes at Naas last weekend. She improved on her debut effort at Navan when fifth of 10 runners behind Carry The Flag in that listed contest and is likely to be suited by the extra distance now.
Annie Batt is another making a quick reappearance having finished runner-up to the pacesetting Grayrobin in a similar race to this at Bellewstown and she’s another that could do better as she goes out in trip. Eastern Queen has a few lengths to find with Annie Batt and bigger dangers are likely to be the narrow Fairyhouse second Just One Show and the more-experienced Eighteenth Smiles.
SELECTION: ARROWSTOCK
Next best: Annie Batt

Institute ran well last time and might just have the edge on her return to maiden company. There were three subsequent winners ahead of her when she took sixth place behind Spinning Around in a fillies’ handicap over seven furlongs at the Curragh in early May and this might prove a lesser task.
Cool Azul wasn’t far off the pace in a five-furlong handicap at the Curragh early last month and he must have a chance on his earlier maiden form. There’s not much between him and Hasita on a run in very testing conditions at Cork and the latter, tried in cheekpieces for the first time now, should benefit from a drop down in trip after two fair efforts since.
SELECTION: INSTITUTE
Next best: Hasita

Irish Rumour didn’t figure after a tardy start from a wide draw at Leopardstown but she must have a big chance on the earlier run that saw her take second spot behind all-the-way winner Sommelier over the extended six furlongs at the Curragh early last month. She also went close to winning on a couple of occasions last season and is probably deserving of another winning turn.
Thurso went well for new connections when fourth over the same minimum trip here a month ago and that run came on the back of a success for trainer Richard Hughes over a distance closer to today’s on very quick ground at Bath. The three-year-old In The Gloaming and the more exposed Coincidental Glory are also noted.
SELECTION: IRISH RUMOUR
Next best: Thurso
3.30 Navan Adventure Centre Handicap (3yo) 5f
Boston Max went close to completing a hat-trick of wins when just losing out the well-fancied handicap first-timer That’s Random over six furlongs at Doncaster last month and looks the leading player. He was a good winner on his own handicap debut at Dundalk in April and then got up on the line to force a dead-heat at Chepstow the following month.
He’s taken to win again now, possibly at the main expense of Cashel Blue who came good on her first run in a handicap at Down Royal in late May, after which she was found to have blood at both nostrils. The Right One also won at Down Royal last time but her victory came on soft ground and conditions are sure to be very different now.
SELECTION: BOSTON MAX
Next best: Cashel Blue

Summer Is Tommorow bounced back to form last time and can go a place better. He just failed to peg back English raider and race favourite King Of Earth when second in a valuable handicap at the Curragh on Derby weekend, his best run since recording his second career success at Roscommon last September.
He goes back up in trip for this and could be a match for the taking Gowran Park maiden winner Confused who ran a race full of promise when beating the subsequent Naas maiden scorer Listentodwindblow.
SELECTION: SUMMER IS TOMORROW
Next best: Confused

Already a four-time winner on the all-weather, Genoah can gain his first success on the turf. He easily ran his best race away from Dundalk when runner-up to strong favourite Fixation in the 10-furlong Ladies Derby Handicap at the Curragh and is likely to go well again with ground conditions to suit.
Raydamann remains a maiden on the flat but he registered his second jumping success with a wide-margin win in a claiming hurdle at Sligo a month ago.
This will be tougher and those making more appeal include Beauparc who won well at Dundalk in March and will relish the good ground, Cala Bonita who wasn’t too far behind Beauparc on his first run in six months at Gowran Park last month, and Steel Cut who wears blinkers on his handicap debut.
SELECTION: GENOAH
Next best: Beauparc
5.15 Navan Racing Festival 14th & 15th November Handicap 1m 2f 40yd
Copper Craft can’t be too far off a breakthrough success. He has gone close a couple of times at Dundalk in recent months, notably when losing out by a neck to Grey Fable in May over a longer distance than this.
His all-weather form gives him a big chance now against the likes of Jazz Forever who was only headed close to the finish when third to subsequent winner Deluca Chop over 13 furlongs here just over a month ago.
Top-weight Rising Sky went very close at Naas but wasn’t as good at Bellewstown while the course and distance winner Cleopatra’s Needle was a moderate second on soft ground at Down Royal last month but might be expected to get closer on this sounder surface.
SELECTION: COPPER CRAFT
Next best: Jazz Forever
