2.05 TIFRUMS EBF (C&G) MAIDEN 6F
Spirit Of Valor is hard to oppose following his debut at the Curragh last weekend where he looked very green before finishing out his race especially well to end up being beaten just 1½l into third by Holistic Approach. The benefit of that first run means that he will take all the beating.
Imagine If posted two solid efforts earlier in the season. He was beaten just over 2½l into fifth by Intelligence Cross in a 6f maiden on Derby weekend when last seen in action and he should be able to play a leading role if matching that form. Solomons Seal is respected following his solid debut third behind Khukri at the Curragh, and Arizona State is a notable newcomer as a son of highly successful Scat Daddy.

2.35 COULSTY EBF FILLIES MAIDEN 6F
A chance is taken on the newcomer Puppetshow. The Galileo filly is out of a high-class sprinter in Lesson In Humility, who has already produced the stakes-winning juvenile Coach House, and it would not come as any surprise if she were to overcome her lack of a previous outing. She could have most to fear from another newcomer, Sorelle Delle Rose, who is a Dark Angel own-sister to the multiple pattern and listed race scorer Sovereign Debt.
The 89-rated Wayside Flower is dropping back in trip from a mile but has posted a couple of decent efforts over this distance, which entitles her to respect.
Selection: PUPPETSHOW
Next best: Sorelle Delle Rose
3.10 AT THE RACES EBF BIRDCATCHER PREMIER NURSERY 6F
Miss Qatar can follow up her recent maiden success over this trip. On that occasion Jim Bolger’s charge coped well with testing ground so any significant rainfall over the weekend wouldn’t be a major concern for her.
After showing definite promise on her first two outings she produced a nice effort to score at Fairyhouse and there could be more to come from her.
Impart improved from an encouraging second run at Cork to win a 5f maiden at Navan in August and he was certainly value for more than the winning margin of 1½l. He is now blinkered for the first time.
The hat-trick chasing Grecian Divine is another with a live chance, while Istan is respected despite being 11lbs higher than when winning the first nursery of the season at the Curragh.
Selection: MISS QATAR
Next best: Impart
3.45 IRISH STALLION FARMS EBF AUCTION RACE 7F
This could provide Noivado with his third success of the campaign. A 6f maiden winner at Fairyhouse in July, he then added to his tally when registering a near 4l triumph in a conditions race over 6f at this track last month.
He looks a smart colt and one with a future in good company and he is chosen in the expectation that he will cope with the step up to this trip. He didn’t seem to get home on his only previous try over 7f but that was almost four months ago.
It would not surprise if Pandagreen emerged as a contender. She overcame a wide draw and trouble in running to win a 7f maiden at Leopardstown during the summer. She hasn’t run since then and a rating of 76 leaves her with work to do, but she looks a promising type. Massif Central and Cloistered are two others that could make their presence felt.
Selection: NOIVADO
Next best: Pandagreen
4.20 HOSPITALITY AT NAAS HANDICAP 7F
William Ashford can continue his fine run of form. This four-year-old’s last three outings have yielded two wins and a second and have earned him a 21lbs hike in the ratings. However, this rise shouldn’t deter anyone as he is clearly going from strength to strength with every run and he won’t be at all troubled if the ground does ease over the course of the weekend. Ecoeye looks a significant threat. He is only 6lbs higher than when winning at Roscommon over the summer and he comes here off runner-up finishes at Listowel and Limerick. He is one for whom softening ground would be a major positive.
Selection: WILLIAM ASHFORD
Next best: Ecoeye
4.55 CLODOVIL EBF GARNET STAKES (LISTED) 1M
The very talented Rose De Pierre should be able to stay unbeaten. After beginning her career with maiden and handicap triumphs at the Curragh, the Dubawi filly coped well with a step up in class to land the Listed Platinum Stakes at Cork in August.
This does not look as strong a race and she should take all the beating. Fellow Dubawi filly and English raider Intimation looks one of the biggest dangers. She is making her second visit of the season to Ireland following a creditable third in the Gowran Group 3 won by Duchess Andorra last month. The drop back to a mile will not be a problem for her.
Selection: ROSE DE PIERRE
Next best: Intimation
5.25 ANJAAL EBF BLUEBELL STAKES (LISTED) 1M 4F
Toe The Line has run some honourable races in defeat in good company over the last number of months. She was a good third to Twilight Payment and Forgotten Rules in a 2m listed contest at the Curragh last time, while a couple of placed runs behind Bondi Beach earlier in the season also count as decent efforts. She remains more than capable of adding to her tally at this level and she is chosen ahead of Fact Of Folklore, who was only a neck behind her in that race won by Twilight Payment.
For her part, Fact Of Folklore has run some solid races at stakes level over the course of the season and she is entitled to be closely involved. The aforementioned pair finished ahead of Soul Searcher last time and that one franked the form with a placed effort in the Curragh listed race won by Alveena last weekend.
Selection: TOE THE LINE

5.55 PROFILE SYSTEMS NAAS OCTOBER HANDICAP 1M 4F
He is at a distinct disadvantage in terms of experience and he will need to improve on the form of his sole start to date, but Lightning Bullet could mount a strong challenge for victory. The manner of his debut success in a 1m 5f Leopardstown maiden in August was quite taking and suggested that he could hold his own in good company in due course. Interestingly, his trainer won this race with another three-year-old last year. Master Ring won a Limerick maiden in good style last week on his Irish debut. This race represents a major rise in class for him but he looks like one that could go to do appreciably better and it is interesting that his connections are lining him up at this level.
Selection: LIGHTNING BULLET
Next best: Master Ring
