Xenobia can build on her promising debut at Leopardstown last October when she finished a 4½l second to a high-class sort in White Satin Dancer. She can overcome both a wide draw and the lack of a previous outing this season. Realt Rua made a bright start to her career at this track several weeks ago by finishing a 3¼l third to stablemate Virtudes in a 6f maiden and her yard is in tremendous form. Kiss The Wind is also respected following her comeback third behind Smoulder at Dundalk last week. A return to the form of her debut would make Old Time Waltz a contender.

A repeat of the form that he showed on his return to action at Newmarket last month will make Whitecliffsofdover hard to beat. Then the War Front colt dominated the Listed Free Handicap to win by 2¾l. He has risen to a rating of 114 which looks to put him some way in advance of these rivals. He could have most to fear from the Jessica Harrington duo of Marshall Jennings and Drumfad Bay. Marshall Jennings boasts the stronger form following his head second to Rose De Pierre in last month’s Heritage Stakes and he is the mount of Colm O’Donoghue. Drumfad Bay progressed from her reappearance to finish a good second to Doctor Geoff in the Tetrarch Stakes over this course and distance last month.

Dali could be the answer to a contest where six last time out winners square off. The selection was beaten by True Blue Moon on his debut at Dundalk but progressed from that to success over this course and distance three weeks ago. Mamba Noire looked very smart when making a winning debut at Cork recently. On a strict line of form involving Spirit Power, she has an edge over Sirici, although the last-named has won her last two starts and has been value for more on both occasions. T For Tango looked a nice type when he made a winning start at this track in April, while the form of the Nottingham maiden won by Simmy’s Copshop is solid and entitles him to maximum respect.

Selection: DALI

On her debut over this course and distance three weeks ago, Alpha Centauri looked a top notch juvenile in the making as she cruised to an authoritative 2½l victory. So he must have every chance of confirming that form with Actress who chased her home that day.

Actress has since run at the Curragh last weekend when she enjoyed a comfortable victory in a 5f maiden.

Shapes was third behind the aforementioned pair on her debut and should again run well while Moonlight Bay is very interesting on her first outing since she landed the opening juvenile maiden of the season at this track in March.

4.15 EMS COPIERS LACKEN STAKES (GROUP 3) 6F

Caravaggio can stay unbeaten as he makes his eagerly awaited return to action. This colt was the star sprinting juvenile of 2016 when his sequence of wins took in the Marble Hill, Coventry and Phoenix Stakes. He does carry a Group 1 penalty for that latter triumph but even so it is hard to look past his chances.

Khukri won the listed prep race for this at Navan last month when he defeated Gorrane by ¾l. Three of those that finished behind that day are in opposition once again. Psychedelic Funk lost his chance when stumbling coming out of the stalls at Navan so he should leave that form well behind. Mr Scarlet shaped up nicely in that race when he finished sixth and his lack of a recent outing seemed to count against him that day so there will be more to come from him.

Selection: CARAVAGGIO

On her reappearance at Gowran Park last month, Truffles ran appreciably better than the final result would suggest in the handicap won by Elusive Beauty. She was eventually beaten 6l into sixth but looked sure to play a leading role at one stage inside the last quarter of a mile only for her lack of a previous run this season to catch her out on the soft ground.

Markhan progressed into quite a reasonable type last season when his victories included a handicap at this track. He has finished unplaced on his last three outings but he enjoyed no luck whatsoever on one occasion and he can be relied upon to progress well from his comeback outing here three weeks ago.

Geological could be dangerous from the front while The Mouse Doctor warrants every consideration on last weekend’s effort at the Curragh.

Selection: TRUFFLES

Sweet Sounds can make it three wins in succession on her reappearance and looked a promising type last season when she won both her starts.

She started off with a maiden win at Tipperary and followed that with a defeat of the useful Massif Central in a Roscommon conditions race. She can progress off a mark of 86.

Chronicles has to contend with a drop back in trip but is respected. He won a 1m 2f Navan maiden last month and followed that with a second to Tommy Hallinan in a rated race at Cork, a run on which he holds Allography.
