Reverting to hurdles here could see the five-year-old back in the winner’ enclosure.

Radiator Springs could prove well handicapped if ready on her first start since April. Sent off favourite for a highly competitive Punchestown handicap hurdle on that occasion, the Henry de Bromhead-trained mare ran a creditable race. Prior to that, she had finished runner-up in an equally well contested affair at Fairyhouse.

A winner at Sligo on her penultimate start, Speisialta went close in her follow up attempt at Bellewstown last time. Finding only one too good on that occasion, the Anthony John Black-trained six-year-old should again run her race.

Galway bumper winner Run Ted Run can make a successful hurdling debut. Sent off a well backed favourite on his introduction, the Willie Mullins-trained gelding landed those odds after a sustained battle with the second. Stepping up in trip here should see the son of Joshua Tree improve further.

Point-to-point winner Game Theatre ran a race full of promise when fourth on his rules debut at Clonmel last time. Another bred to appreciate a test of stamina, the Henry de Bromhead-trained five-year-old holds every chance.

Having recorded a first win over fences at Galway earlier this month, Ocastle Des Mottes can follow up. A decent performer over hurdles, the Willie Mullins-trained gelding made all the running to score last time. Similar tactics should suit in a small field around a tight track such as this.

Boasting a similar level of ability to the selection over flights, Sky Lord also made the breakthrough over fences on his most recent start. The Henry de Bromhead-trained gelding should improve from that confidence booster and won’t be far away.

Winner of a listed handicap chase at Killarney last time, the Willie Mullins-trained Jalila Moriviere rates the main threat. A consistent sort at this level, the daughter of Joshua Tree looks sure to give her running once again.

Narrowly denied at Galway last time, Sir Vinny boasts strong claims. Also placed on his previous two runs. David Harry Kelly’s gelding is another that looks well capable of landing a bumper success.
