1.50 JOHN LYNCH MEMORIAL MAIDEN HURDLE 2M
Aspen Colorado landed two good bumpers on easy ground before flopping in a similar Punchestown event. He’s guaranteed to be well-schooled over timber and he will be encountering favourable ground. Golden Poet showed his potential when routing the opposition in a Kilbeggan bumper in June but couldn’t follow-up in a Tipperary event a month later.
Nulife has plenty of bumper experience and will be well-prepped from a very capable yard. Sanibel Island was runner-up in February to She’s A Star, who scored at Listowel earlier this week. He was a good winner of a Ballinrobe bumper and hails from a yard more than capable of having them just right on their jumping debut. Debutante Getaway Home comes from a great yard and has potential.
SELECTION: ASPEN COLORADO
Next Best: Sanibel Island

Bel Sas has obvious claims after three track successes already. He was well-beaten by stablemate Screaming Rose on his latest start so would need to leave that performance behind.
The second Willie Mullins representative, Penhill, has leading claims based on his Galway victory and looks to hold all the aces. All The Answers battled to a maiden hurdle victory at Galway and has progressed consistently since a Ballinrobe bumper win.
SELECTION: PENHILL

2.55 SPEEDY’S BARS HANDICAP HURDLE 2M 4F
Sir Vincent has been off the track since winning a novice chase at Roscommon three years ago. Fitness may be an issue and he will benefit from the run. Havana Dancer was third in a similar event at Ballinrobe on his latest start and a repeat performance will be expected. Diamond Dame won here on Sunday and carries the mandatory 6lb penalty with obvious chances.
Finish In Style pulled-up on his latest start at Kilbeggan but comes from connections capable of having one ready. Even discounting top-weight Notification’s latest run, the handicapper looks to have a good hold of him. The Fitz Lady reappears after finishing fourth in a similar event on Sunday. Another good run is expected.
SELECTION: DIAMOND DAME
Next Best: Havana Dancer
3.30 M.J. CARROLL ARRO HANDICAP HURDLE 2M 4F
Last year’s winner Buster Dan Dan has been novice chasing recently and is in decent form. Master Appeal has been running fairly well lately and if, ignoring his fall at Killarney in August, should be thereabouts. Delvin Road followed up a Down Royal maiden hurdle win with a decent sixth at Killarney.
Massini’s Trap is at a competitive mark and, if hitting no trouble in running, should fight out the finish. Coolmill runs off 123, a mark from which he has won in the past. Ballyadam Brook was dropped 2lb for finishing fifth at Killarney, which brings him into the equation, while Clonalig House is nicely weighted following a recent Tipperary victory.
Killiney Court easily landed a novice chase at Ballinrobe and comes to Listowel in great form.
SELECTION: MASSINI’S TRAP
Next Best: Buster Dan Dan
4.05 BEASLEY ENGINEERING LIMITED HANDICAP CHASE 3M
Sir Abbot has been run sparingly over the summer but the ground may just a bit too soft for him. Presenting Beara has been off the track for nearly two years and will benefit from the outing. As De Pique has fencing experience and ran a cracker on his most recent outing at Galway to finish fourth.
Thomond is another returning after a lengthy absence - nearly two years. Curragh Golan has been running very consistently recently and is only 5lb higher now than when he landed a handicap chase at Wexford in July. A big run is likely.
SELECTION: AS DE PIQUE
Next Best: Curragh Golan
4.40 CHUTEHALL INTERNATIONAL LTD (QR) HANDICAP CHASE 2M 1F
Pires has been putting in some good efforts, which will stand him in good stead at Listowel. However, he may find the burden of top-weight too much to shoulder. He Is Top Class landed his novice chase in style at Thurles last November and comes to Listowel with chances. Kilcrea won at Killarney before flopping at Galway but appears at a competitive mark. Samanntom is back at a mark that should enable him to run into a place. Robin Des People hasn’t run since April but could be capable of getting involved. Not For You was unlucky to be carried out at Killarney and comes from an in-form yard.
SELECTION: KILCREA
Next Best: Samanntom
5.10 ALLMAN CONTRACTS LTD NOVICE CHASE 2M 4F
Tocororo was a very impressive winner at Galway, accounting for stablemate and today’s rival Tiger Roll by 16 lengths. Even though they are slightly more closely weighted, Tocororo still has the measure of her stablemate. Before that Galway blitzing, Tiger Roll finished second to another of today’s rivals, Baily Cloud, but he is weighted to reverse that result. Deans Road caught the eye landing a beginners’ chase at Limerick in May before a couple of good placed efforts. Kemboy was a good winner of a Killarney handicap chase last month but will need to improve.
SELECTION: TOCORORO
Next Best: Tiger Roll

Hidden Cyclone was only just touched off by Clondaw Warrior at the Galway Festival and followed-up that effort with a comfortable victory last Sunday. The Winkler put in a strong performance to win at Killarney. Mississippi River has too much improvement to find to get competitive. Snow Falcon has shown great speed in his last two outings to land two hurdle races, including a Grade 2 at Navan.
SELECTION: SNOW FALCON
Next Best: Hidden Cyclone
