Gran Habano can record a first career win. The Adrian Murray-trained gelding, who has reached the frame in his last three maiden starts, should be suited to this slight drop in trip.
Well drawn for one who likes to race prominently, Chris Hayes is sure to have the son of Mehmas up with the leaders from the outset.
Although an infrequent winner, Never Shout Never should be ideally suited to conditions. A strong traveller, who can be held up or race up with the pace, his versatility should help in this small field.
SELECTION: GRAN HABANO

Despite his best form coming over slightly further, Tynamite has every chance of recording a seventh career win.
Although yet to make the breakthrough on turf, the veteran went close under this rider when second at this track last time. If getting the breaks from his inside draw, the 11-year-old should be finishing better than most.
Granted a better break than last time, Spirit Of Eagles should again be involved. While one win from 30 starts doesn’t inspire confidence, the Thomas Dowling-trained five-year-old has been placed on a few occasions.
SELECTION: TYNAMITE

Third on his racecourse debut at the Curragh last month, the Adrian Murray-trained Marlborough Place is entitled to improve. Admittedly, those that have run subsequently have done nothing to boost the form but the son of Showcasing shaped with plenty of promise, so has to be given the chance to back that up now.
A beaten favourite at Gowran Park last time, Angelight should be suited to dropping back in trip. The form of her previous start at Naas, when beaten a length in fourth, has been franked since.
SELECTION: MARLBOROUGH PLACE

Jasmine Affanalis can improve on her recent second placed finish at this track. Staying on strongly to take minor honours on that occasion, the David Marnane-trained filly should be suited to this slight step up in trip. Drawn wide last time, jockey Luke McAteer will have more options from a lower berth on this third handicap run. With trainer Andy Slattery in excellent form in recent weeks, Shahada Ace has to be respected. Third at Bellewstown last time, the filly may prefer a longer trip but shouldn’t be discounted in a very winnable race.
SELECTION: JASMINE AFFANALIS

The Paddy Twomey-trained Tenoya can get her head in front for the first time. Third behind a well fancied stablemate on her debut at Cork in May, the daughter of Persian King ran a similar race when occupying the same position at the Curragh last time. With the experience of those two starts to call upon, she should be good enough now.
Johnny Murtagh has really hit top form of late, so his representative Floresta commands respect. Fourth on her introduction at Dundalk in April, the Newtown Anner Stud Farm-owned filly really rattled home for third at Fairyhouse recently.
SELECTION: TENOYA

Narrowly beaten on his last visit here in April, Slieve Bearnagh can gain compensation. The David Marnane-trained eight-year-old travelled strongly throughout the race, leading early in the straight before being overhauled close home on very soft ground. Back on a quicker surface now the Paul Rooney owned gelding makes plenty appeal.
Tramore Derby winner Stepdance has to be a serious contender under a 7lb penalty. Conor Cusack negates that rise here, meaning the Henry de Bromhead-trained mare can race off an identical mark.
SELECTION: SLIEVE BEARNAGH

Woodshaw Whisper can give Ger Lyons and Nicola Burns a third success together. A winner on his stable debut at Dundalk in March, the colt followed that up with a solid third at Gowran Park last time. Although raised 3lb for that effort, the excellent Burns can take 7lb off now. An improving three-year-old with more to come, this looks a nice opportunity.
Recent Down Royal fourth Camevere looks the main threat. A lightly-raced daughter of Camelot, the Dermot Weld-trained filly showed definite promise on her handicap debut at the northern venue.
