1.25 IRISH STALLION FARMS EBF MARES HANDICAP HURDLE 2M 2F
A competitive contest and marginal preference is given to the Christy Roche-trained The Living Beauty. The five-year-old won a maiden hurdle at Cork back in April and hasn’t shaped at all badly in two starts in handicap hurdles, most notably on her most recent start at Punchestown. This return to a shorter trip coupled with the application of a first-time hood could well do the trick and she is selected. Of her rivals, the John Kiely-trained Pride Of The Braid did well to make a winning hurdling debut at this track last month and this longer trip should help her cause on what is her handicap hurdle debut.
Selection: THE LIVING BEAUTY

3.05 1888 RESTAURANT HANDICAP HURDLE 2M
The form of the Coral.ie Hurdle always tends to stand up well in the weeks and months after the race and it may be worth taking a chance on the John Joe Walsh-trained Cliff House. The six-year-old previously finished an excellent second to the progressive Desoto County at Thurles and ran well for a long way in finishing ninth in the Coral.ie Hurdle. This is a big drop in class for him and he could well capitalise. One unexposed rival that warrants consideration is the Des McDonogh-trained Theophilus, with the five-year-old having shaped well in his two starts since returning to hurdling.
Selection: CLIFF HOUSE
Next best: Theophilus
4.15 LEOPARDSTOWN INN HUNTERS CHASE 3M
All eyes will be on the Enda Bolger-trained On The Fringe, who makes his return following a stellar 2014/15 campaign that saw him win the hunter chases at the Cheltenham, Aintree and Punchestown Festivals. However, such a campaign was a testing one and with him having been beaten in the last three renewals of this contest, it might pay to be cautious when setting expectations for his comeback run. With that in mind, preference is given to the Adrian Maguire-trained Two Rockers, a former Grade 2-winning novice hurdle in 2012/13 who has won six out of his seven starts in point-to-points and won a hunter chase at Thurles last time.
Selection: TWO ROCKERS
Next best: On The Fringe
4.45 LEOPARDSTOWN CLUB MEMBERSHIP (PRO/AM) FLAT RACE 2M
Perhaps not the strongest renewal of this contest and the one that makes the most appeal is the Jessica Harrington-trained Sunni May. The five-year-old made a highly-promising debut when second to Castello Sforza in a valuable sale’s bumper at Fairyhouse in April and raced too freely for his own good on his return to action back at that track in November. A more settled display could well see him home in front in this. His main rival is the Willie Mullins-trained Some Neck, who made a promising debut to finish second to Gurteen over this course and distance in December.
Selection: SUNNI MAY
Next best: Some Neck
