Recent Downpatrick runner-up Galileo Springs can go one place better. She showed little on her first two starts over hurdles but following a couple of solid placed efforts in bumpers, ran much better reverting to jumps last time.
Jazzy Rock made a promising debut over hurdles when staying on to reach the frame at Roscommon in August. While a reproduction of that run should see her involved, the six-year-old could easily have improved for that experience.

Fresh from an excellent Listowel Festival, Eoin McCarthy can take this with Kingdom Calling, who was third and closing when falling two out at the aforementioned meeting. Given that he was rated 15lb higher at the end of last year, his chances are obvious.
Fifth in that same race last time, Boston Bobby is not without his chance. Having made headway before two out, he was slightly hampered by the fall of Kingdom Calling. To his credit, the six-year-old ran on late to be beaten six lengths.
SELECTION: KINGDOM CALLING

Wholelotofbusiness can complete a quick double for Eoin McCarthy. Unlucky when runner-up in his maiden hurdle here in August, he went on to fill the same position behind a strong favourite last month. Despite having a bit to find at the weights, he can register a deserved first success.
Dual bumper scorer Friary Road made the perfect start to his hurdling career when winning at Navan recently.
Value for a bit more than the bare form suggests, he has to be a leading contender.

A winner over fences at Listowel recently, Gaelic Des Chastys catches the eye. Reverting to hurdling off a 16lb lower mark here, he looks well treated, with Paddy O’Brien claiming an additional 5lb off his back.
Placed in a point-to-point, Tinking Man should appreciate stepping up in distance.
Fourth in a maiden hurdle here, the gelding didn’t have much luck in running on his handicap debut last time.

Third over hurdles at Listowel last month, Mount Ferns reverts to fences. Having stayed on from well off the pace to reach the frame, he comes into this race in decent form.
Although he has yet to show a great deal in two starts in this discipline, he is almost certainly capable of better.
Prince Of Air, who ran well for a long way in a stronger race last time, should have every chance.
A dual winner for his locally-based trainer, the eight-year-old was runner-up here in August.
SELECTION: MOUNT FERNS

Former point-to-point winner Nastya can make it third time lucky over fences. Henry de Bromhead’s lightly-raced mare easily landed her maiden hurdle at Down Royal in April and, sent chasing this season, made a promising debut when fifth at Kilbeggan, before improving to finish second at Ballinrobe last time.
Bumper winner William Butler has looked a bit one paced in six runs over hurdles, but the son of Yeats looks just the type to improve faced with fences.
SELECTION: NASTYA

A winner at Wexford in August, Hit The Frame can follow up, with the frontrunner finding plenty for pressure on that occassion. Raised 7lb, he only carries an additional 2lb here, as connections have booked champion conditional jockey Tiernan Power Roche.
Ballinrobe winner God Help Us has to be a serious threat to the selection. The form of that particular race received a timely boost when the runner-up went one better at Sligo in mid week.
SELECTION: HIT THE FRAME
