The following horses noted by our reporters on their latest starts hold these engagements over the next six days:

ARCHIVE (FR)

Declared to run at Leopardstown tomorrow

Noted at Fairyhouse November 30th 2014: Even though he was allowed to go off at 33/1 this Sulamani gelding ran with promise in the bumper won by fellow Gigginstown-owned runner Identity Thief. He travelled notably well throughout and success should be well within his reach.

CARLINGFORD LOUGH (IRE)

Declared to run at Leopardstown tomorrow

Noted at Leopardstown, December 28th, 2014: A high class novice chaser last season, he made a very pleasing return in the Lexus Chase. He had to settle for fifth having looked a possible winner at one point in the straight and he will be a formidable force in top level three mile contests in the second half.

DALMATIA (IRE)

Entered at Clonmel on Tuesday

Noted at Leopardstown January 25th: Put in a fair round of jumping on his hurdle debut and, having been prominent throughout, kept on well from the last. Has plenty of racing experience from the flat and should be winning soon.

FIVE O’CLOCK TEA (FR)

Entered at Down Royal on Wednesday and entered at Thurles on Thursday

Noted at Naas January 17th: Although he had to settle for third in the handicap chase won by Kilmurry Kid he ran respectably. This was his first run since April 2013 and he has shown progress. He can make his mark at this level.

SE VENDE (IRE)

Entered at Thurles on Thursday

Noted at Limerick on December 26th 2014: Recovered to finish fifth after making a mistake four out and losing his pitch behind Irish Bulletin in the two-mile, three-furlong maiden hurdle. Could be better than bare form suggests.

CARRIGEEN KIGELIA (IRE)

Entered at Thurles on Thursday

Noted at Thurles, January 29th: Looked a likely winner of the mares’ beginners chase when jumping boldly, only to be run out of it by the more experienced Our Katie. It was a creditable effort from a family that jumps and stays. No surprise to see this former point-to-pointer win again.

EMPIRE OF DIRT (IRE)

Entered at Thurles on Thursday

Noted at Thurles, January 15th: He paid the penalty for overjumping at the second last but looks well up to making amends at the time of asking.
