STONY GREY (IRE)

Declared to run at Navan today and entered at Thurles on Thursday

Noted at Sligo August 6th: A highly progressive handicapper last autumn, he was well held on his return to action at Galway but offered encouragement when third in the Connacht Derby. There could be better to come.

UTMOST ZEAL (IRE)

Declared to run at Leopardstown tomorrow and entered at Thurles on Thursday

Noted at Tramore January 1st: He has failed to live up to expectations so far but can be deemed unlucky not to have been placed after taking a final flight fall in the two-mile maiden hurdle. He was tiring in the heavy ground after attempting to make all and deserves another chance.

VENITIEN DE MAI (FR)

Entered at Thurles on Thursday

Noted at Thurles January 5th: A multiple point-to-point winner, he ran into a progressive sort when runner-up to Roi Des Francs. Well clear of the remainder, he should have little difficulty landing a staying maiden before going on to fences.
