Noted at Gowran Park on January 21st: He crept into the race with four left to jump. He was turned sideways in a collision at the final flight of the maiden hurdle but still kept on to finish a moderate fourth behind Au Quart De Tour on his hurdling bow. With this experience under his belt he is a likely winner next time.

Noted at Fairyhouse January 30th: An impressive points winner in November, she made a fine start to her career on the track when finishing second to Avellino in the bumper. She showed a fine attitude when headed by the winner and a mares’ bumper triumph looks likely.
