1.58 Golf Classics At Gowran Park Maiden Hurdle 2m
Manoir De Mirande, Jack Kennedy’s only ride of the day, deserves a winning turn. Perhaps unfortunate when a final hurdle faller in December, he showed far more since when runner-up to leading Fred Winter fancy Madness D’elle.
He can score at the main expense of Bulgaden Castle, who did well when second to Chichester Park and Straight John at Thurles and Punchestown respectively.
Le Tatoue Madrik was third in an unplaced maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse and comes back in distance for this. Bigger dangers could yet be Market Ready and Minella Boss.
SELECTION: MANOIR DE MIRANDE
Next Best: Bulgaden Castle
2.34 Best Of Luck To The Irish At Cheltenham Mares Maiden Hurdle 2m
With some decent course form and loads of experience over hurdles, Likealightswitch is the one to side with. She’s finished third on three occasions, twice here, and was a runner-up on her two most recent outings.
She was well clear of Shesakindofmagic last time, the latter having won a bumper in December 2024 and was second on hurdle debut at the beginning of this year.
She might take the runner-up spot again at the expense of Rebel Queen, who’s just having her second start, and flat recruit The Fog Horn, twice a winner here in the summer of 2023 but absent since June of last year.
SELECTION: LIKEALIGHTSWITCH
Next Best: Shesakindofmagic
3.08 BOYLE Sports Cheltenham Bank Builder Jackpot Handicap Hurdle 2m
Only a couple of days after his similarly unexposed stable companion Let’s Go Mans landed a gamble at Naas, perhaps Galavanting George can give his stable another pre-Cheltenham boost.
The five-year-old shaped very nicely on his handicap hurdle debut when third to last-time-out winners at Fairyhouse early last month and might not need to improve all that much to win now.
Global Skies should be competitive off his current mark, but will need to show more than he did at Clonmel last time.
Punchestown fifth Paradise Lost is likely to give a good account of himself once again. Mon Sheriffe and Marelly are also in with a shout, while another placed run from 13-year-old top-weight Rebel Gold would be a super effort.
SELECTION: GALAVANTING GEORGE
Next Best: Global Skies
3.43 Holden Fleet Handicap Hurdle 2m 4f
Onlymammycanloveme is taken to add to his maiden hurdle success in testing conditions at Clonmel this time last year. He’s back over hurdles after a spell over fences, highlighted by a moderate third in a beginners’ chase at Fairyhouse. This is more his level.
At the opposite end of the handicap, Ag Obair Go Crua clearly has his chance, as he too reverts to hurdling. On his most recent start over hurdles, he scored over this course and distance back in October.
Minority Interest was also a good winner over this course and distance at the same two-day fixture, but he was soundly beaten in a better race at Punchestown last time. Far less exposed are Sky And Sand and Doing It In Style and both must be considered.
SELECTION: ONLYMAMMYCANLOVEME
Next Best: Ag Obair Go Crua

Shamrock Handicap Chase 2m
More Coko was a faller at halfway in a stronger race than this at Leopardstown’s Dublin Racing Festival, but is better judged on his earlier second to Western Diego in the Grade 3 Tote Dan & Joan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase.
Champagne Mahler won this race 12 months ago off an 11lb lower mark, but rated novice chase winner Anotherway might be more of a danger. He went close at Limerick on St Stephen’s Day and will certainly handle testing conditions.
It is quite a while since Jigoro was in the winner’s enclosure, but his run at Thurles last time suggests a second career success is not too far off. The hat-trick seeker Mount Frisco is 3lb out of the handicap proper.
SELECTION: MORE COKO
Next Best: Anotherway
4.53 INHSC Supporting Point-To-Points Tetratema Cup Hunters Chase 3m 1f
Hunters Yarn might just be best. He’s had a fine season in the point-to-point fields and showed his liking for racecourse action when runner-up to leading Cheltenham Festival fancy Panda Boy in a hunters’ chase at Naas a month ago.
Crucially that day, while readily outpointed by the winner, he finished nicely clear of the third-placed Ryehill to turn earlier Dromahane form around.
Lets Go Champ made a winning return to point-to-points when scoring comfortably at Oldtown two weeks ago, his first outing since last year’s Punchestown Festival.
SELECTION: HUNTERS YARN
Next Best: Lets Go Champ
5.23 “Doc’s Bumper” INH Flat Race 2m 2f
It is highly likely that the newcomer Dromard will be all the rage in a race that both his trainer and jockey boast a fine record in, but unlike recent scorers Tullyhill, Port Joulain and Ksar Fatal, the selection doesn’t arrive on the back of a point-to-point success.
He should still take all the beating and might be fancied ahead of Reckless, who has had four outings. He is back on the flat after taking the runner-up spot behind subsequent winner Spinningayarn in a maiden hurdle on New Year’s Day.
While a moderate fifth to an odds-on favourite over Christmas, Line Speed was only a length behind Timesareachanging, a maiden hurdle winner and third in a Grade 3 novice hurdle since.
SELECTION: DROMARD
Next Best: Reckless
