1.20 Ladies Day At Dundalk Handicap 5f
Little Queenie won this off a similar mark last year and was last seen running a respectable seventh in the valuable Rockingham Handicap. Narrowly denied on her penultimate start, first-time blinkers may eek the necessary improvement from this six-year-old mare.
Sporting Hero is a danger, having finished was just a short head behind her at the Curragh and had far more to do a furlong out. He gained his second course-and-distance win here in February, when beating the talented Big Gossey, but his 10lb claimer’s inexperience could tell in this classy field.
Preference instead is for Cuban Grey, who was beaten two lengths in the Rockingham and races off 3lb lower today.
Solvency is an interesting recruit from the UK, having once been tried at listed level, but he might be best watched on his first start since December. Valiant Force carries a huge weight as he drops down in class.
SELECTION: CUBAN GREY

Save for his penultimate start, Eric Lock is in good form of late. Narrowly denied last time and clear of the third, he should go one better here, over the trip of his maiden victory.
All Right By Me returns to the venue where he showed the most promise, placing over a mile off 5lb higher and should appreciate this drop down in trip.
Have I Told You is another who’s run well here, finishing fourth in a maiden over this trip. While that looked relatively weak, she has a realistic mark.
Merchants Arch has run well in similar races but needs to bounce back from a disappointing effort last time. Just Before is another for the shortlist.
SELECTION: ERIC LOCK
Next best: All Right By Me
2.27 Catherine Allison & Co. Solicitors Maiden 1m
Sidney Reilly was not without support on debut in April, when he ran green before finishing fourth, beaten five lengths. The form has generally worked out well and the gelding operation is another positive, for punters at least.
De Boode showed promise behind more experienced rivals on the first attempt and is expected to build on the fifth-placed effort.
Of the newcomers, $70,000 breeze-up buy Beijinho intrigues, and any market support for this Nyquist colt should be noted.
SELECTION: SIDNEY REILLY
Next best: De Boode
3.02 QuinnBet Handicap (Div I) 1m
Rampage went close at Bellewstown last time and looks to have a leading chance here, as he takes advantage of a lower all-weather mark.
Sierra De Gredos’ only previous run here was less than inspiring, but Andy Oliver’s charge is in far better form this year and sports a first-time tonguestrap today. Ben Coen is a positive, as is Colin Keane aboard El Bello.
It’s over a year since the six-year-old last won, but his three Irish wins came here over seven furlongs. Last month’s run at Leopardstown over nine furlongs suggested that today’s trip could be ideal.
SELECTION: RAMPAGE
Next best: El Bello
3.35 QuinnBet Handicap (Div II) 1m
Master Garvey won over course and distance off the same mark in March and comes here in good form, having placed at Leopardstown last time out.
Morning Approach is back to a workable mark, having previously gone up 9lb for a six-length win over course and distance.
She’s been out of form of late, but a return to this surface could turn things around. The Bog Bank faces an easier task off her all-weather mark and has won here off a similar weight.
SELECTION: MASTER GARVEY
Next best: Morning Approach

Game Point is proving frustrating to follow, but was possibly outstayed last time out and appears to be the class angle in today’s race.
Lombardi was a length behind him in April, and rates high on the shortlist. The form of Carthusian’s debut second enjoyed a notable boost on Thursday when the winner, Scandinavia, bolted up in the Bahrain Trophy.
Jessica Harrington’s charge disappointed at Leopardstown next time, but may be worth another chance in first-time blinkers, back down in trip.
SELECTION: GAME POINT
Next best: Carthusian

Spring Dance was bred to achieve far more than this, but it looks like an ideal opportunity to win a maiden with this daughter of Dubawi.
The €350,000 purchase has shown promise on both her starts and may still be learning on the job, judging by how she finished last time out.
Janes Harbour looks her strongest rival and should appreciate this drop back in trip after not appearing to stay the mile-and-a-half trip last time.
Qamari, bought cheaply from the James Tate yard, may be best watched on her first start in 12 months.
SELECTION: SPRING DANCE
Next best: Janes Harbour
5.15 Family Funday At Dundalk Friday 15th August Handicap 1m 4f
Enziya flew home to get off the mark last time out and the 4lb she received for that effort gives her a good chance of following up today.
Numidia is back down to a more workable mark. Two of his three wins came here, with the other over this trip, putting him on the shortlist. The trip won’t be a problem either for the dual-purpose Hasten Slowly, who races off a nice weight today. He ran well on his penultimate start and comes here fit from hurdling.
Quickshot was well backed on handicap debut over 10 and a half furlongs and, while he plugged on late as if a step up would suit, he isn’t bred to get this trip. Dancing Steve is another dubious stayer but comes here in good form.
SELECTION: ENZIYA
Next best: Hasten Slowly
