2.00 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden 7f

Snowfall can bounce back from an abortive outing here last month when she was poised just behind the leaders in the closing stages only to clip a heel and lose all chance of getting involved. She had previously begun her career with a promising third to Frenetic in a decent Navan maiden and she looks more than good enough to make her mark at this level.

Sister Rosetta is a likely threat after losing out by just a short-head in that maiden over this course and distance than Snowfall contested last time. She is sure to progress from that initial outing. Of the newcomers Fermoy makes plenty of appeal as a daughter of Kodiac and Ramone who was a Group 3 winner at this track.

SELECTION: SNOWFALL

Next best: Sister Rosetta

2.35 Manguard Plus Summer Fillies Handicap 7f

A speculative vote goes to Orchid Gardens who put in some good work in the closing stages of a smart 1m handicap here last which was won by Music To My Ears. She was beaten by just over 2½l on that occasion but could well progress from that run which was her first in a handicap and her first on turf. Furthermore, her other form includes a couple of decent efforts at Dundalk behind Crossfirehurricane.

Titanium Sky could run a big race despite a potentially troublesome high draw. She comes here off a fine effort in a quality handicap over this course and distance three weeks ago when she was fifth to Big Baby Bull. Music To My Ears should be competitive off just a 6lbs higher mark than when winning here last time but she might be vulnerable dropping back in trip. The stakes-winning Sonaiyla is respected despite having to carry top-weight.

SELECTION: ORCHID GARDENS

Next best: Titanium Sky

3.10 Airlie Stud Stakes (Group 2) 6f

Frenetic could take a good deal of beating. She was an impressive winner of a 5f listed at this track last month in a very good time and the step up to this trip isn’t a major concern as she won her maiden over just short of 6f at Navan on her debut. She looks a high-class filly and she can confirm maiden form with Mother Earth who was beaten by 1¾l at Navan before being placed at Royal Ascot and then going to land a Group 3 at Naas a couple of weeks ago.

More Beautiful, a stablemate of Mother Earth, finished unplaced at Ascot but is surely better than she showed there as she looked potentially top-drawer when making a winning debut at Naas early last month.

SELECTION: FRENETIC

Next best: Mother Earth

3.45 Holden Plant Rentals Sapphire Stakes (Group 2) 5f

A chance is taken on the English raider A’Ali who was a high-class sprinting juvenile last season. He didn’t run to anything like his best on his return to action but the benefit of that comeback run coupled with a drop back to the minimum trip worked the oracle for him at Sandown last time where he landed a Group 3 at the expense of the high-class Liberty Beach.

He can see off Make A Challenge who has already won two listed races this season with his most recent success coming over an extended 5f at this track last week. Any easing in the ground over the course of the weekend would aid his cause.

SELECTION: A’ALI

Next best: Make A Challenge

4.15 Kilboy Estate Stakes (Group 2) 1m 1f

Ridenza could be worth taking a chance on. She looked a potentially high-class filly when making a winning debut at Leopardstown last August but didn’t get the chance to run again until she contested a 1m Group 3 at Leopardstown at the start of this month when she was third to Know It All.

She has the capacity to improve considerably from that outing and might turn over Lemista who has started her season in great style by winning a 1m Group 3 at Naas in March before following up with a stylish success in a listed race over an extended 1m 1f at Gowran last month. Possibly she wouldn’t want the ground to dry out too much.

Lovelier looked a potentially smart filly when she shed her maiden tag in a listed race at Killarney on Monday evening. She could go close provided she doesn’t find this race coming too soon.

SELECTION: RIDENZA

Next best: Lemista

4.45 Evoke.ie Handicap 1m

On his first try at Group 3 level earlier this month So Suave came up short when finishing at the rear of the field in the Amethyst Stakes won by Sinawann. However, he is better than he got to show there and he had previously shaped like a three-year-old with a distinctly bright future when winning a Gowran handicap over a mile. He is only 5lbs higher as a result of that Gowran success and that gives him a realistic chance of adding to his haul.

Real Appeal is an interesting runner. His stamina has to be taken on trust and it is a major unknown but his reappearance fifth behind Punita Arora in the Listed Committed Stakes at Naas last month was highly encouraging. The four-timer-chasing Star Of Cashel is very interesting, while stablemates Fame And Acclaim and Dune Of Pilat appeal as other likely contenders.

SELECTION: SO SUAVE

Next best: Real Appeal

5.15 Irish EBF Median Sires Series Maiden 6f

Monaasib took a significant step forward from his debut run when he chased home the very smart-looking Teresa Mendoza in a maiden over this course and distance last week. That showing would suggest he should find a maiden success well within his reach and he can play a leading role here.

Magnanimous must have every chance after progressing from a satisfactory debut to finish second behind To Glory in a Limerick maiden last time. Going Global caught the eye on his debut at Limerick and is another that could get involved, while Lay It Out and Anjalawi are notable newcomers from top yards.

SELECTION: MONASSIB

Next best: Magnanimous

5.45 Big Picture Communications Handicap (50-80) 5f

She has started her season in fine form and Powersville might be able to strike again. She progressed from placed runs at Naas and Fairyhouse to win nicely at Sligo last time and should be very competitive despite finding herself 9lbs higher.

If the ground were to ease at all over the weekend, Miacomet would have a good chance. She came back to form on yielding ground at Navan earlier this month when finishing second to Stanhope and she put together a string of good efforts on easy ground last season.

Pulse Of Shanghai is a very interesting runner on his first start for Kieran Cotter. The form of his maiden win at Down Royal last season looks increasingly strong in light of the subsequent efforts of the runner-up Strong Johnson.

SELECTION: POWERSVILLE

Next best: Miacomet
