1.45 IRISH STALLION FARMS EBF FILLIES MAIDEN 6F

Chocolate Music showed promise on her debut at Fairyhouse a fortnight ago when she was beaten just under 3½l into third by Vallambrosa. She looked as though she would progress well for that outing and she can put that experience to good use in a race where quite a few of the runners are making their first appearances.

Fire Fly has her sights lowered after contesting a Group 3 won by So Perfect here three weeks ago. She should go close. Her stablemate Mona Lisa’s Smile is an intriguing runner as a daughter of War Front and Imagine.

Foxtrot Liv began her career with an encouraging fourth behind Secret Thoughts in a 6f Naas maiden last month. That run would entitle her to get involved while Rahtmoylan Cove also showed promise when taking sixth in that Naas race.

SELECTION: CHOCOLATE MUSIC

2.20 VICTORIA RACING CLUB TROPHY NUSERY HANDICAP 6F

The first nursery of the season could fall to the top-weight, Evasive Power, who defeated one of these rivals, Silver Service (now 5lbs better off), by a neck to win a Navan maiden two months ago. After struggling to make an impression in the Marble Hill Stakes he bounced back with a creditable 4l second to the smart Dom Carlos in a 5f conditions race here last month. He will bid to become the third consecutive top-weight to win this race.

Urban Light, who wears a visor for the first time, might be his biggest danger. He has progressed with racing and produced his best effort yet when finishing a 5l third to the subsequent listed runner-up Mintd in a Listowel maiden early last month.

SELECTION: EVASIVE POWER

Next best: Urban Light

2.55 SAPPHIRE STAKES (GROUP 2) 5F

Mabs Cross can provide Michael Dods with a second win in this race in the last three years. The Dutch Art filly won the Group 3 Palace House Stakes at Newmarket earlier this season and progressed from a creditable fourth in the Temple Stakes to finish a 2l third to Blue Point in the Group 1 King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot.

She is a coming force in this division and she is preferred to compatriot Caspian Prince who posted a tremendous effort under top weight to be beaten a short-head in the Rockingham three weeks ago. Caspian Prince produced perhaps the best effort of his career in this race last year when he edged out the subsequent Group 1 heroine Marsha. Washington DC is high-class at his best and efforts such as his close second in the Temple Stakes entitle him to close consideration.

SELECTION: MABS CROSS

Next best: Caspian Prince

3.30 KILBOY ESTATE STAKES (GROUP 2) 1M 1F

She has a three-month absence to overcome but Magical could still be able to secure her second success at this level. She was a high-class two-year-old last season, when her form included a victory in the Debutante Stakes and a close second in the Moyglare, and that entitles her to be among the leading lights of this year’s fillies division. This is her first outing since she returned with a fourth in a Poule d’Essai des Pouliches trial in April.

I’m So Fancy comes here at the peak of her powers having won listed races over 1m and 1m2f at this track. She has something to find on ratings with a couple of these but she is in the form of her life and another bold showing is expected from her.

September was a top-notch juvenile, reaching the frame in a series of Group 1 contests in the autumn, but she could just be vulnerable on her first outing since November.

SELCTION: MAGICAL

4.05 IRISH STALLION FARMS EBF FILLIES HANDICAP 1M

Terzetto has shown a smart level of form on her three outings to date and looks more than capable of making her mark at this level. She defeated the useful Rionach to win a Dundalk maiden in early May and showed up well in a good fillies’ handicap over this course and distance several weeks later when beaten 1½l into third by Hence and Dianthus. A similar effort here should suffice.

She can see off the improving Artistic Melody who notched up her second win in succession when accounting for the subsequent winner Koybig at Bellewstown earlier this month. Surrounding’s last effort is easily forgiven as her saddle slipped. She is not one to underestimate.

SELECTION: TERZETTO

Next best: Artistic Melody

4.40 KILLASHEE HANDICAP 2M

She hasn’t run for 191 days but She’s A Star has previously shown that she can go well when fresh and it wouldn’t come as any surprise if she were to prevail. On her last outing, the capable dual-purpose performer won a 2m Dundalk handicap where she edged out the very smart polytrack performer Elishpour. She is only 4lbs higher in the weights this time.

Sandymount Duke hasn’t been at his best on his last two runs over fences but he could do much better now that he switches to the flat. He will enjoy the ground and the trip and his last flat outing saw him finish an honourable 3l second to Max Dynamite in a Killarney conditions race last August.

SELECTION: SHE’S A STAR

Next best: Sandymount Duke

5.15 KILDARE POST AND KILDARE NOW FILLIES MAIDEN 1M

Park Bloom has a good chance to get off the mark. She has improved steadily in her three runs to date. Last time out she posted a very respectable effort at Gowran when she finished a 2l second to Curly, who didn’t let the form down when finishing a close fourth of four in the Meld Stakes at Leopardstown on Thursday.

She is chosen over the newcomer Ancestral who is a daughter of Bated Breath and the 1000 Guineas winner Wince. Ancestral is a half-sister to the Group 1-winning Quiff who is the dam of her trainer’s promising Fairyhouse maiden winner Fulminate.

The experienced Proud And Elated shouldn’t be far away either.

SELECTION: PARK BLOOM

Next Best: Ancestral
