Jim Bolger’s juveniles are in sparkling form and his Dawn Delivers is taken to build on a highly encouraging debut at Leopardstown last month. On that occasion the daughter of Dawn Approach was beaten just a short-head by the smart-looking Lethal Steps and she showed more than enough that day to suggest that she could win a maiden.
She is preferred to the blinkered Battle Of Jericho who finished a length and a half behind her at Leopardstown. The War Front colt can also improve on that effort as he didn’t enjoy the smoothest of runs but this ground may just be a shade slower than ideal.
Selection: DAWN DELIVERS
Next Best: Battle Of Jericho

Although she hasn’t won for over a year, Only Mine is the choice. She is meeting Gordon Lord Byron on 9lbs better terms than when being beaten a length and a half by that rival in the Group 2 Greenlands Stakes here in May. These revised terms could see Only Mine reverse that form and she has since acquitted herself well as evidenced by a head second in last month’s Ballyogan Stakes where Penny Pepper denied her on the line.
Gordon Lord Byron has since met with defeat in the Ballycorus Stakes but a return to this trip should suit the admirable international campaigner who retains most of his ability.
Selection: ONLY MINE
Next Best: Gordon Lord Byron

Sea Wolf appeals as one that can make his mark at this level. He progressed into a high-class handicapper last term, when winning the Irish Cambridgeshire, and he has looked better than ever in two outings this season. Last time out he was a smooth winner of a one-mile premier handicap at this track off a mark of 101 and that effort alone suggested that he was more than capable of holding his own at stakes level. He should also be quite at home on the ground.
Flight Risk is a formidable rival. The dual Group 3 winner returned to the fray with an ultra smooth victory in last month’s seven-furlong Ballycorus Stakes at Leopardstown and has displayed high-class form over a variety of trips and ground. He was second in this race two years ago. A fascinating runner is Alexios Komnenos who won a maiden at this meeting last year and finished a superb neck second to Churchill in the Tyros Stakes on his only other start.
Selection: SEA WOLF

It is over two years since he last won a race, but Aussie Valentine is more than capable of landing a race of this nature. The triple Irish Lincoln runner-up has been running well this season and followed his latest Lincoln second with placed efforts behind Katiymann and Dragon Fei. Any further easing in the ground would aid his cause and he deserves to get his turn.
The useful Mizaah hasn’t enjoyed much luck this season and his last run is totally discounted as his saddle slipped. His previous fourth to Sea Wolf in a premier handicap over this course and distance is a strong piece of form. Katiymann was disappointing behind Sea Wolf last time but he gives the impression that he is capable of better than he has shown so far.
Selection: AUSSIE VALENTINE
Next Best: Mizaah
4.10 DUBAI DUTY FREE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP FILLIES HANDICAP 7F
Tobacco Bay remains a promising filly and a prize like this could be well within her reach. Following a Tipperary maiden success in April, she returned to action in a seven-furlong handicap at this track last month where she travelled notably well before eventually being beaten two and three-quarter lengths into second by Duchess Of France. The latter was a clear cut winner at the line but Tobacco Bay shaped better than the final result and she is now 8lbs better off with the winner which tips the scales in her favour.
Truffles looked like she might have needed the run when she was sixth to the subsequent stakes winner Elusive Beauty in a handicap over this trip at Gowran Park in April. She can certainly do better as a result of that run and she is open to further progress. Asking is also respected having shaped up well for a long way before fading into sixth in the Sandringham Handicap at Ascot last week.
Selection: TOBACCO BAY
Next Best: Truffles

Horses who have contested the Coventry Stakes have a very patchy record in this race but it is still hard to look past Murillo. He progressed very well from his first outing to run out a smooth winner of a Tipperary maiden in May and he took another step forward when finishing a close third at Ascot last week.
He looked somewhat unlucky in the Coventry and that effort confirmed that he was an emerging force at the upper reaches of the juvenile division. Despite reservations about his quick return to action he is put forward to score.
Beckford created quite an impression with his debut success in a strong auction maiden at this track in mid-May. The form of that victory has been working out well and there is every reason to believe that he can hold his own in good company. Commander Grigio was beaten over three lengths by Beckford on his debut but he then bolted up in a maiden on Guineas weekend and could finish much closer to his old rival on this occasion. He too is a formidable contender.
Selection: MURILLO

Laws Of Spin was a relentless improver last season and could still be progressing. Indeed it would not surprise if this lightly raced four-year-old goes on to hold his own at a much higher level than this.
He progressed well from a comeback victory at Ballinrobe last summer to win a decent Leopardstown contest and he did even better on his final start of the season when landing the Irish Cesarewitch over this course and distance. That sequence of wins saw him climb 21lbs in the ratings but he still has more to offer and his 266-day absence isn’t a major concern.
His stablemate Whiteout looks a credible threat. The former Grade 1-winning hurdler made short work of her rivals to win a handicap over this course and distance on Guineas weekend. An 11lb hike up the weights shouldn’t prevent her from playing a leading role.
Selection: LAWS OF SPIN
Next Best: Whiteout
