1.42 Irish EBF Median Sires
Series Maiden 6f
Having improved on his debut effort to finish third at Sligo last time, the Ado McGuinness-trained Coincidental Glory can make the breakthrough. Travelling nicely on the heels of the leaders, the gelding kept on well close home. Well drawn against the stands rail, the son of Cotai Glory can get off the mark at the third time of asking.
With the form of his debut fourth at Down Royal working out nicely, the Ger Lyons-trained Willofthepeople shouldn’t be far away. The A’Ali colt should know more on this second start, although he has been done no favours with his draw.
SELECTION: COINCIDENTAL GLORY
Next best: Willofthepeople

Monte Vista has shaped well enough on her three runs to date to suggest that she can win a race of this nature. The form of her recent fifth at Down Royal has worked out exceptionally well, with both the winner and second scoring subsequently. A mark of 73 looks very fair, especially once taking into account her rider’s additional 5lb claim.
Profit Centre, who ran better than his final placing suggests over course and distance last time, is one that could outrun his odds. The Ken Condon-trained colt is almost certainly capable of better than he has shown to date.
SELECTION: MONTE VISTA
Next best: Profit Centre
2.52 Listed Mitsubishi Electric Curragh Irish EBF Curragh Stakes 5f
Stephen Thorne has every chance of listed success here with the speedy Jack The Bachelor. An all-the-way winner at Cork last time, the colt had previously run very well when second to a subsequent sales race winner at Down Royal. Provided that his stamina holds out over this stiffer track, the son of Mehmas has leading claims. Kansas, who chased home Jack The Bachelor at Cork recently, should again be a contender. The Aidan O’Brien-trained colt had come out on top when the two clashed at Tipperary on his previous start.
SELECTION: JACK THE BACHELOR
Next best: Kansas
3.27 Group 3 Newbridge Silverware Royal Whip Stakes 1m 2f
A three-time Group 1 scorer, the Aidan O’Brien-trained Los Angeles can concede weight to rivals in this lower grade. Arguably better over further, the former Irish Derby winner coped with this trip admirably when landing the Tattersalls Gold Cup on his return at this track in May. Subsequently fifth at Royal Ascot, he can get back to winning ways.
Lightly raced Zahrann looks the main threat for Johnny Murtagh. A listed winner at Leopardstown in early June, the three-year-old ran a career best when runner-up in the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot last time.
SELECTION: LOS ANGELES
Next best: Zahrann

The Paul Flynn-trained Rappell could be good enough here, despite stepping up in grade. Ideally suited to six furlongs on good ground, the four-year-old has had very few chances to show what he can do under such conditions. Well drawn against the favoured stands rail and, with his young apprentice taking off 10lb, the Soldier’s Call gelding can go close.
Course and distance winner Heavenly Power has been running well enough of late to suggest he can be a factor. Although down the field in the Scurry last time, the Eddie Lynam-trained gelding should find this easier.
SELECTION: RAPPELL
Next best: Heavenly Power
4.37 Group 3 Comer Group International Irish St Leger Trial Stakes 1m 6f
Never a factor in the Irish Derby last time, the Aidan O’Brien-trained Puppet Master is almost certainly capable of better. A game winner of the Lingfield Derby Trial on his previous start, the Camelot colt looked a thorough stayer on that occasion. Stepped up to a mile and six for the first time here could well see him in an even better light.
Former Ebor and County Hurdle winner Absurde looks the chief threat. A confirmed stayer, who twice ran well in the Melbourne Cup, the Willie Mullins-trained seven-year-old is entitled to be involved.
SELECTION: PUPPET MASTER
Next best: Absurde
5.10 Robbie Dolan Melbourne Cup Winner Handicap 1m
Veteran trainer Arthur Moore can register a rare Curragh win courtesy of Withoutfurtherado. Runner-up at York last time, the three-year-old didn’t enjoy the clearest of passages when fifth at Gowran Park on his penultimate start. A lightly-raced gelding open to further improvement, he looks well suited to this mile trip.
Although yet to get her head in front, Auburn Avenue has been running well in similar races. Runner-up in a maiden at Dundalk last time, the four-year-old had previously run a solid race over this course and distance.
SELECTION: WITHOUTFURTHERADO
Next best: Auburn Avenue

American In Paris has much in her favour as she bids for a fifth career win. Successful at Naas on her penultimate start, the Paul Flynn-trained mare ran when mid-division in a big field at Cork subsequently. Well drawn here and, with her capable apprentice taking off an additional 10lb, the five-year-old should make her presence felt. Annie Lavinia, who finished second to the selection at Naas, returned to that track to open her account. She has something to find at these revised weights, but the Eddie Lynam-trained filly looks on the upgrade.
SELECTION: AMERICAN IN PARIS
Next best: Annie Lavinia
