Plenty of guesswork with no form to go on. Joseph O’Brien is well able to prepare three-year-old winners over hurdles and got some relatively useful placed form into Out Of Aces’ brother Turn And Finish last season. The Wings Of Eagles gelding is out of a half-sister to Sir Erec.

The market is well worth watching, for obvious reasons, and Infinity Succes is of interest as one of three possible runners for Declan Queally. She’s a half-sister to dual Grade 1 winner Balder Succes.

Provided this quick turnaround doesn’t count against him, Crooked Path will have a big say for Denis Hogan after finishing second to a likely useful type in a Gowran maiden hurdle last weekend.

Before last night’s action at Dundalk, Kevin Coleman’s previous eight runners yielded five seconds and a third. It wouldn’t be a shock if Kasper Hauser went one better for him here after three solid efforts to begin his career in this sphere.

Kilbris is a newcomer to this discipline but a rating of 89 on the flat means he’s bringing a solid level of ability to the table.

SELECTION: CROOKED PATH

A winner over course and distance here last year, Onefortheditch ran well over possibly a shade further than ideal last time at Listowel and could be better now back at this distance. Conditions could be nicely in her favour too.

This is a pretty open affair in which Jaadil will be in the mix if reproducing what she showed when second at Navan last month. Tea It Is, a beaten favourite at Gowran last week, is dangerous to discount on his best form also.

SELECTION: ONEFORTHEDITCH

There weren’t major fireworks from Found A Diamond last time at Listowel but his previous trio of runs would entitle him to be a player, especially with Shane Markey’s 7lb claim factored into the equation. This bumper runner-up is rated 105 and is technically 7lb wrong at the weights with Kevin’s Pride, who sets the standard on 114.

However, while that rival was a debut bumper winner in good style at Kilbeggan last year, he has been frustrating to follow with four consecutive seconds since, including at Perth last time. He hasn’t run in 172 days. Big Dispute and Itsaworkinmaniam are feared too.

SELECTION: FOUND A DIAMOND

If he can overcome a lack of hurdling experience, St Lawrence’s Well looks open to more improvement than most here and can build on a smart display when winning a Kilbeggan bumper last time. It’s likely a plus for his jumping that he’s had four runs in point-to-points before embarking on this campaign, and the form of his Cork second has been working out a treat.

A recent spin on the flat should have left Fad Eadrainn in a good place for tackling this assignment and he’s got an experience advantage. Tackletommywoowoo ran creditably enough in a competitive handicap at Listowel last time but is technically 6lb wrong with the highest-rated runner in the line-up.

SELECTION: ST LAWRENCE’S WELL

It’s a concern that she unseated early on her only chasing run but this looks a weak race and Rockstown Girl can take advantage. She’s had a recent run to blow away any cobwebs and has operated at a higher level than these. She isn’t bombproof, however, and Kazakh d’Arthel ran well when fourth at Navan last time. He should be in the shake-up once more - though he has fallen or unseated on three of his five chase starts.

SELECTION: ROCKSTOWN GIRL

Next best: Kazakh d’Arthel

The manner in which Luminous Light won over fences at Clonmel in February suggested he can go higher than his current chasing mark of 118, and his win on decent ground over hurdles here a month later (albeit in fortuitous circumstances) pointed to versatility in terms of ground. He’s got a lovely weight.

Rebel Gold is down 3lb since unsurprisingly finishing adrift of his rivals in a Gowran Grade 2 last weekend, and this type of race ought to suit him much better. If She’s A Fine Wine could cope with the pace required for this distance, she mightn’t be far away.

SELECTION: LUMINOUS LIGHT

5.12 Racing Again November 2nd (Pro/Am) Bumper 2m 3f

The form of the Thyestes Day bumper that Carrigmoorna Beech bolted up in looks a little windy at the moment, but she created a fine impression on that occasion, represents an in-form trainer in the shape of Declan Queally and has a smart pedigree.

Something Fabulous, a year older and fresh from a win at Tramore over subsequent winner Run For Mahler, looks a big danger. It will be interesting to note if market support arrives for newcomer Jack Owen Jack, given he’s a stablemate of Run For Mahler (giving a line to the level of form required to match that rival).

SELECTION: CARRIGMOORNA BEECH
