2:10 COOLMORE RULER OF THE WORLD MAIDEN (PLUS 10 RACE) 7F
Kenya may be able to take this on just his second ever start. The son of Galileo proved no match for stablemate Flag Of Honour on his debut at Gowran Park but that runner had the benefit of racing experience and in all likelihood is up to a fair standard (takes part in a Group 3 at Newmarket today). Kenya could still turn out to be smart himself and should handle this soft ground. New To Town sets a fair standard with a mark of 83 but the second vote goes to the Willie Mullins-trained Maze Runner who has performed with credit on both of his two starts, the latest on heavy ground at Listowel.

2:45 INGREDIENT SOLUTIONS LTD SUPPORTING THE RICKIE HEALY APPEAL HANDICAP 7F
The first place to start is with Not A Bad Oul Day who is going for a remarkable eight wins since joining John Feane this season. The five-year-old gamely fought off the challenge of old rival Stenographer last week in Limerick and he is only up 3lbs for that effort. Granted, he is now running off 95 but he arrives in rude health and should go well again.
G Force is really interesting for Adrian Keatley. A Group 1 winner in Britain in his prime, he had shown little for the Curragh trainer until staying on late in a listed race at Navan last Sunday. That effort moved his mark up to 98 but it may well have signalled a return to form and if that is the case he could still be well treated considering his top class back form.
Selection: NOT A BAD OUL DAY

Brendan Brackan’s record in this very race reads 211 and despite disappointing on his previous run he is taken to make it a hat-trick of wins. Ger Lyons’s admirable eight-year-old has consistently delivered at this level, handles soft ground and has an overall good record at Cork. If he runs to his rating of 111, he should win. Pincheck and Spanish Tenor, two three-year-olds receiving weight off the selection, have the scope to mount a challenge. Preference out of the pair would be for the latter mentioned who won his maiden at this course and showed a higher level when running third to Psychedelic Funk on his latest start.
Selection: BRENDAN BRACKAN
Next best: Spanish Tenor
3:55 O’FLYNN GROUP SUPPORTING THE RICKIE HEALY APPEAL NURSERY HANDICAP (PLUS 10 RACE) 1M 100Y
A trappy nursery and a tentative vote goes to the top weight, Joseph O’Brien’s Sebastiano Ricci. He is more exposed than many of his rivals on this his ninth start but his latest effort, finishing eighth in a £300,000 sales race at Doncaster, could well be a career best. Heavy ground is no problem for him and Pat Smullen takes the ride,
The second vote goes to Conquest, who has failed to show anything similar to what her illustrious sister Minding achieved. She competes off a mark of 69 on just her fifth start and she probably deserves at least another chance to make a mark at this level.
Selection: SEBASTIANO RICCI

4:30 IRISH STALLION FARMS EBF FILLIES HANDICAP 1M 100Y
This fillies handicap may come down to two three-year-olds; John Oxx’s Upgraded and Jim Bolger’s Focus On Heaven. Both fillies only made their seasonal debuts last month so come into this contest much fresher than the majority of their rivals. In the case of Upgraded, she only made her debut proper when finishing eighth in a Navan maiden. She has since progressed to win at Gowran Park and then finish third in good standard conditions race won by Gymkhana at the same track. A mark of 87 looks lenient on the bare reading of that form and she may well be able to progress again as well.
Focus On Heaven ran second in a conditions race at Limerick last weekend and has similar scope to progress now.
Selection: UPGRADED

Pat Flynn’s Aunty Audrey showed a first encouraging sign of her ability just three days ago when second to Invincible Queen over seven furlongs at Gowran Park and with a bit of improvement she can take this 18-runner contest. The extra furlong and ground should suit the daughter of Zoffany who will have the services of Killian Leonard in the saddle.
Sarah Lynam’s Musical Jewel finished one place behind the selection in the same race on Wednesday and though it will be tough for her to turn the tables, the extra furlong she gets to race over here should suit. Annie Irish is another to note coming into this off a good effort to finish second at Gowran Park last month.
Selection: AUNTY AUDREY
Next best: Musical Jewel
5:35 CORPORATE HR IRELAND SUPPORTING THE RICKIE HEALY APPEAL MAIDEN 1M 100Y
Pipes Of Peace earned a rating of 94 from his four juvenile runs last season but has failed to get near that standard on his only two appearances this season. If Aidan O’Brien’s colt can find his best form he will be tough to beat but he doesn’t look a solid proposition. Nor does Dermot Weld’s Newcross, on account of his disappointing effort last time at Listowel, but that run may well be too bad to be true. Prior to that he showed promise to finish second to Giorni Felice on his seasonal debut at Roscommon. If he can return to that sort of form he should be competitive at the business end.
Selection: NEWCROSS
