Irish Bulletin has an excellent opportunity to get off the mark. He finished a 7l second to Kitten Rock on testing ground here in March. Furthermore he comes into this off a career best run at Punchestown where he finished a 5l second to fast improving Lite Duties in a 2m 4f handicap. Speed Demon was only fourth to Cappacurry Zak in a recent Tramore maiden but may still give the selection most to do. Se Vende showed definite promise last time and is not without a chance.

1.05 SIGNSPLUS HURDLE 2M 3F

Fresh from a second to Nichols Canyon in last month’s Royal Bond Novice Hurdle, the 132-rated All Hell Let Loose gets the vote. An obvious threat comes from fellow Gigginstown-owned runner Marinero who turned in a nice effort off a six month break to defeat Long Dog and the capable Fine Article in a 2m 2f maiden at Fairyhouse last time. Captainofthefleet won a maiden hurdle at this meeting last year and is not without a chance.

Selection: ALL HELL LET LOOSE

Next Best: Marinero

1.35 GGL SECURITY MARES MAIDEN HURDLE 2M 2F

Presenting Mahler is a hopeful choice. She won a bumper at this track last month, defeating Side Saddle and Table Tips, to follow up on two respectable efforts in maiden hurdles. Uranna returned from almost two and a half years off the track to finish an 8¼l third to Katuo Grand Mogul in a maiden at this track last month. Truthwillsetufree is a notable runner as she turns her attentions to jumping.

Selection: PRESENTING MAHLER

2.05 SHANNON AIRPORT NOVICE CHASE (GRADE 2) 2M 3F 120YDS

This could see Adriana Des Mottes make it two wins from as many starts over fences. The Grade 1-winning hurdler began her chasing career in taking fashion when she defeated the high class Rule The World by a nose in a beginners’ event at Fairyhouse in November. Last season’s Boylesports Hurdle winner Gilgamboa comes here off a promising debut over fences which saw him defeat Blood Cotil at Navan in November. Wounded Warrior defeated Blood Cotil by 6½l at Navan earlier in the month but he may need a more exacting stamina test. Band Of Blood is respected following his creditable fourth in the Drinmore.

Selection: ADRIANA DES MOTTES

Next Best: Gilgamboa

2.40 O’KELLY BROTHERS DEMOLITION MARES HANDICAP HURDLE 2M

Annagh Haven could reward the decision to turn her out again quickly following her 1l second to Lyrical Theatre in a mares’ maiden at Thurles on Sunday. That run saw her finish 5½l in front of Dantes Firth who now meets her on worse terms so she should confirm form with that rival. Gold Platinum is interesting as she did run somewhat better than her final position would suggest when seventh to Shabra’s Bertolini in a Navan handicap hurdle last time. Melbourne Lady comes here off a couple of decent efforts in black type contests and commands the utmost respect but this ground is an unknown for her.

Selection: ANNAGH HAVEN

Next Best: Gold Platinum

3.15 WOODLANDS HOUSE HOTEL HANDICAP CHASE (0-109) 2M 3F 120YDS

A speculative vote goes to Sacre Malta while Black Zero is the one to beat. The latter was an 8l winner of a 2m 2f handicap at Gowran last month and then followed up off a 7lbs higher mark at Thurles on Sunday. He carries a mandatory penalty here and can be relied upon to play a leading role once more.

Selection: SACRE MALTA

Next Best: Black Zero

3.45 LYONS OF LIMERICK JAGUAR AND LAND ROVER FLAT RACE 2M

On Fiddlers Green has a better chance than his form would suggest. On both his previous outings he has run better than his final position indicates and he wasn’t at all disgraced on his reappearance run at Punchestown earlier in the month when he was beaten just over 10l into seven by Livelovelaugh. Cast No Shadow started off with a respectable 16l fifth to The Big Apple at Naas last month. An improved showing can be expected from him.

Selection: ON FIDDLERS GREEN
