Alison Corr
What is your earliest point-to-point memory?
It would have been my first ride in Lingstown.
How did you get into racing?
I was six when I started riding. I started off pony racing when I was younger. I started off on a 12.2 and went on from there.
Every weekend I was at it.
If you weren’t in racing, what do you think you’d be doing?
I’d have a go at singing except I can’t sing. I’d be a bit tone deaf.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Jesus I don’t know that. Not very bright. Confident! I don’t know really.
If you could learn one skill, what would it be?
Just improve my riding really.
If you could be someone else for the day, who would it be?
Ah sure it would have to be Sean Flanagan, he’ll love that.
What’s your biggest pet peeve?
A lot of things annoy me. When people leave the radio on an uneven number. My girlfriend always leaves it on an uneven number and it drives me mental.
What’s your worst habit?
Probably swearing.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I can’t sing.
What’s your biggest regret in life?
Jeez I don’t know that either. I don’t really have any regrets.
If you ever won the lottery, what would you do?
Buy a load of horses!
How do you relax outside of racing?
Nothing really, I’m always driving somewhere. I’m always busy.
What advice would you give to yourself when you were a child?
Never give up.
